"I have been trying to find a good shoe repair business for the longest. I been all over the valley but everyone seems to do subpar work. I can across Andys so I figure I give them a try. I believe in supporting black owned businesses so that made my decision easy. I hate to say it but I truly regret giving this guy my shoes. I have called this place several times every single day no one answer the phone. Now I live in buckeye so imagine how pissed I’ll be if I drove to downtown Phoenix and he was closed. I am a so called African American and it is establishments like this that makes not only our own kind but other nationalities not want to patronize with us. So sad, especially how he sold himself as the best around and been doing this for so many years. Nothing but drag!! Horrible place to do business with, stay clear away"

"Called Friday before last to confirm business hours. Was told 3pm, arrived at 2:30pm, place was dark& locked. Not the way to promote repeat customers. If he needed to close early, he could've left a sign posted saying why. Business hours clearly posted but not kept."

"The hours posted conflict with the hour's of operation. The service is very polite and professional. If they can't fix it the effort to try and satisfy shows. Most folks toss out an old and what appears to be an un-salvage pair of shoes or boots. I say, "bring them to Andy's" let them work out what you feel is unrepairable. Give those well used and comfortable shoes another go."
