"The customer service here is atrocious from the stylist to the manager. They wouldn't even acknowledge mistakes made in a cut done by them. In the time we were there; 2 kids didn't like their cuts, decided to buzz it all off as a result, then proceeded to wear a ball cap immediately after. A mom stepped outside with tears in her eyes at the sight of this while we waited for my son to finish his cut. My kiddo left with a "skinhead" style even after telling them exactly what he wanted (which SHOULD have been a traditional and very basic cut). His request was COMPLETELY ignored. He was mortified by his style and didn't even want to return to school the next day. He actually asked to sit in the car for 15 min more this morning while he could stop tearing up by how upset he was. Yesterday we asked for the notes to be changed after "Liz" the stylist (& certainly not a barber), made her mistake and blamed the notes going back to 2014! I called this morning and the notes were not included today,. The experience is largely the same at other locations with the exception of a Scottsdale location where his cut was done by a trained barber and he was complimented by other guests on the way out. This location did everything to defend their stylist and wouldn't even acknowledge the issue. They didn't even have the heart to offer to refund the $40 cut on my 12 y/o boy. What did we get? A kid who hates the way his hair looks, wants to cover his head till it is no longer completely bald on 1 side, and a cut ear. We will never return to Sports Clips as a result. We've had better service and quality of cuts with barber shops every time."
