"Barbara is very professional and friendly. Gives excellent advise on hair products and ways to take care of your hair. Very clean place and reasonable price."
"She was absolutely stunning! Her personality was wonderful her and I clicked so well. And she OVER EXCEEDED my expectations. I am ABSOLUTELY in love with my new hairdo. She gave me when I wanted but also gave me great advice on what do use and what not to use. She is definitely my favorite and will be going to her again ❤️❤️ thank you!!"
"Absolutely love the transformation that Barbara did . I had so many compliments on the color , cut and how healthy my hair looks now . Highly recommend her."
"The only reason it looks halfway decent is because she curled it. It is all one length. She didn’t bother to ask about my bangs. She didn’t pay attention to any of the pictures that I showed her or how my hair was parted when I came in. It was a very quick trim of the back length of my hair with absolutely no shaping towards the front and then she was done and started blow drying my hair. I was sitting in the chair, feeling tons of anxiety that I didn’t know what I was going to do because I know that I can’t force someone to listen. I was wondering, is she going to do the front when it’s dry? And then she started with the curling iron. At the end I was like oh yeah, I didn’t know where my bangs were gonna end up, like hint hint I’m not happy with this and she’s like “oh well you don’t really need bangs” and “I just shaped it up for you.” When I got there she was like are you here for a trim and I said I am here for a haircut. Then she wanted me to sit down at the wash station and I told her I had already washed my hair. She said she just wanted to wet it. I had brought my shampoo with me so while she’s wetting my hair, I’m explaining to her that I have had scalp issues and this is the only shampoo that I can use and then she starts washing my hair with some unknown soap. My scalp hurts already. I also told her that I hadn’t had my hair professionally cut in 10 years because of anxiety. Why do I have anxiety about going to the hair salon? Exactly because of people like this who don’t listen and just do whatever they want with your hair. I tried to raise up the concern about my bangs, but it was clear from her flat answer and her repeated use of terms like “trim” and “just shaping it up” that she wasn’t going to give me an actual style that I showed her pictures of that I wanted. Or even bother to ask me if I want my bangs a certain length. I now have a super flat all one length hair. Money doesn’t grow on trees for me so today is my wedding anniversary and I took the big step of getting past my anxiety and being willing to take the time for myself and spend $50 on myself for this and if I wasn’t as strong as I am, I would be in tears right now. I am leaving this review even though I hate leaving a bad review because I want to put it behind me and move on with my evening. Her other review pictures look like she is an awesome colorist, but I cannot recommend going to her for a hairstyle. I should’ve known from the mile long list of policies that she has and the fact that you have to put a credit card on file first that those were red flags. Also the website asked for me to fill out a form before the visit in which I explained all the things that I also told her in person: that today was my wedding anniversary, that I hadn’t been to a professional in 10 years, that I have sensitive skin and have been allergic to lots of products. After I made my appointment online, she text me and promised me a magical experience, but it did not deliver both with the finished product as well as the location. There was nothing relaxing or magical about this."
"I was referred to Barbara by one of my friends because I was looking to have my hair color corrected and also add purple and boy did she deliver on the outcome! She went above and beyond to get me in quickly and when I left my hair was not dried out. Even several days later it was still healthy, shiny, and not dried out. I followed the tips she provided to keep my hair healthy and the color correction and haven't had a single issue! I have been back multiple times since last year and trust her to deliver and tell me the truth when it comes to my hair and what the best course of action is when it comes to adding vibrant colors. I love her honesty and the way my hair always looks and feels when I leave!!"
