"I've ordered here so many times and when it's done right it's good but this has happened a couple times where I order the Baja chimi and where is the red sauce?!? It only had the white sauce on both the chicken and the beef. I've attached photos so you can follow along. This isn't the first time it's happened but I'm a fairly forgiving person so I keep coming back here. For the price I paid tonight $21/per dish, not sure if I'll order here anytime soon. Rice was also undercooked and crunchy."
"We ate on Sat night night. Food was good, I had the veggie fajitas. All food was on time and hot. Marinna was our server. SHE WAS MORE THAN AWESOME! We talked football, soccer, and politics. She is gonna be a great member of our society for years to come. She really made our visit a great one!"
"We came here tonight to celebrate my wife’s birthday. There’s a certain plate she loves, and that is her usual birthday request. As our party of four was walking in, there were two hosts. I was in the back of our group and whispered to the host that it was my wife’s birthday. His response? “Tell your server.” That would not be possible while maintaining the element of surprise. So, I whispered to the next host and he nodded his acknowledgment. The meal was exceptional as always. I was waiting for the server to do their birthday presentation at our table. It never came. As we were walking out, I asked to speak to a manager. I told her what happened, and I thought this was very poor customer service. She asked me if I wanted some ice cream to go. I declined. I then went and spoke to the second host and asked what happened. He told me that he informed our server. The manager was standing there and simply stated that she was sorry and said she would talk to the server and the first host. This was poorly, poorly handled, and we will never be back. There are plenty of other restaurants in town. I have given this exact restaurant great reviews before. I will retract them. I hope the general manager sees this and contact me. I do not want anything for free. I want this staff to be trained in customer service. Update: one year later, we returned from my wife’s birthday. Our server was great! He anticipated our every need and have great recommendations. Place is very clean and the food was really good."
"My husband and I decided to try Macayo’s today for lunch since the power was out in our house. We got there when they opened at 11:00. Host seated us right away. Friendly. Wheelchair friendly. Waiter was new, but excellent. Food was delicious. Hubby ordered a steak fajita bowl from the lunch menu, but receipt said steak fajita salad? I ordered the burro enchilada style from the lunch menu and added rice and refried beans inside the burrito for an extra charge. Yum."
"Food and drinks were great. Definitely will be back. Seriously, who wouldn't want a chimichanga invented in 1946, delicious. Grand Margarita hit the spot. Little noisy, but the place was busy, so somewhat expected."
