"We have eaten here a few times. The food is always really good. The service has been great 9 out of 10 times. The last time the service wasn't too great. It was a slow time, we chose to sit outside since the weather was great and we were the only ones out there. I feel as they forgot about us because of that. But overall we are always happy eating there."
"I had the chicken enchiladas combination. It comes with beans and rice. I ordered it to go and was pleasantly surprised that it came in a sealed bag! If you ever ordered from a delivery service and had your order sampled by the driver you will love this feature! Other surprises were strong plastic utensils and a bag of their chips and 4 little containers of their salsa red and green. The enchiladas were delicious as were the beans and rice. I also really enjoyed the salsas and chips. I have never cared for green salsa before but, I loved theirs! It's sweet with some heat. I will definitely be back."
"I was suggested this restaurant from a friend. I had two tamales, 1 chicken, and 1 sweet corn. What ever you get here, make sure you try the bean dip....wow, so good"
"Naw!! Not for us Okay first of all - when you are served chips and salsa are you not offered a plate? We used the paper towels. Salsa - eh not the greatest They came and took our order - food came out fast & warm Husband had the Fajita - meat was pretty slim pick’ins. I had ordered the pollo fundido (asked for it, by itself) BUT you still PAY for FULL PRICE >> so you mite as well get the rice & beans!! At first I didn’t see any of the white sauce on it, it was covered by the cheese. Very thin. The chicken was quite dry. So we asked the hostess - since she was right there cleaning tables, if she wouldn’t mind asking for some extra sauce. She basically looked stunned or offended and then said “well that is going to cost you more” Well OKAY it needs something since it’s dry. She repeated herself and I said “yes” It needs more sauce. Then she asked me if I wanted 2 or 4 oz more which cost me $5 EXTRA! But here’s the catcher .. he brings me the sauce in a little plastic container COLD -right from the fridge. Oh yeah.. nice & cold for a warm meal! Oh that’s real swift!! Seriously!?? What the heck! I come to sit and try to enjoy a meal that we pay good money for then to top it off extra measly FIVE $$ for this SAUCE to make it taste decent BUT SERVED COLD!!! Honestly we should have left Then the nerve to charge me on TOP OF THAT - THE COST FOR A FULL MEAL WHICH I DIDN'T GET!! SO once I saw the bill I asked our waiter why were were charged for the whole meal?? He shrugged his shoulders I then said well gee if I’m paying for it, I might as well GET MY BEANS AND RICE BEFORE LEAVING!!! Unflipping real!! NOPE NEVER again What a rip off!"
"Stopped in here while visiting the area because it was highly recommended by locals. It has a BEAUTIFUL outdoor seating area. They start you out with chips and salsa like so many Mexican restaurants but they also give you verde. Those were both good but what really makes this places chips and salsa different is their bean dip! Really good! They bring some out and you can also request a 4oz or 8oz portion to share with the table. I should mention that the chips, they are placed in a tortilla chip warmer (pictured). They come out warm and super fresh! If you’ve ever been to an Uncle Julio’s, they’re just like that. Very very good!! Food here was very good. Some of the asada was maybe a tiny bit on the dry side but not bad. Fairly authentic Mexican flavors! The rice was spot on, just like the wife makes! My Morano Burrito (red sauce) plate was very good and had a decent kick to it. I love spicy food but if you don’t, order with caution. Portion sizes are in the “bring your appetite” category. Very generous! Service was really good. Our waiter was on the ball for sure. He did a really excellent job of being attentive. The only negative was food auctioning… if you have read some of my other reviews, you’ll know this is one of my pet peeves. When someone brings your food out, they should never have to call it out and have their guests claim it. Especially if it’s your own server. They should be able to place the correct food in front of each person with confidence. There are simple methods that can be utilized to achieve this that take very little effort to perfect. All in all, a nice Mexican restaurant. I was glad to have experienced it, would definitely go back."
