"I bought a gift card online for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. I saw they had some skates her size on clearance but I wanted her to pick them out. Even with the fact that they sell their online skates for way more in-store, I was still willing to pay more and give it a chance for my daughter to have a local shop in her hobby and hopefully be a member of the skating community she wanted to be a part of. However the lack of care for their customers is very sad. She is 10 and is still growing and doesn't need a pair of $500 skates. Because we were trying to get her something nice but reasonable and we couldn't be upselled the treated us like garbage. For some reason the giftcard, which does mention it is not refundable, was flagged as a potential scam. Which I thought was odd and they couldn't tell me why. However the lady offered to cancel it which at first I thought was a nice gesture. I get my $100 back to use on skates for my daughter and they get a customer who was clearly still excited to have a local place to buy other items for my daughter's hobby. However I find out 3 weeks later the giftcard all of a sudden took my money out of my account, and I call to tell the owner what had happened and she told me the other lady was new and didn't know what she was doing and there was NOTHING they could do about it. However the lady that cancelled my giftcard was NOT new and told she and the other lady have both worked there for a long time now. The lies, bad policies, rudeness, lack of care, and manipulation has made a store that had potential to be a great part of an awesome community a terrible place and experience. I would rather waste $100 and never use the card than ever go back. In the end it's my daughter who had to suffer the negative energy and disappointment from this place. I end up buying her a great pair of skates from Amazon that took a while but are the SAME skates this place had but $80 cheaper. I wanted to give a small business owner a chance but this place should just go out of business and let big retailers step in to serve their customers."

"Comfy, glove-fit, heavenly, gorgeous skates (and blade protectors) ! I appreciate the people here so much! I needed immediate help and magic getting fitted for and buying figure skates after a shipping fiasco of other skates online from different company and fitter. It is 2 days before my skate camp near the store. I flew in from out of state the morning after calling about availability for me and learning the skate tech would be in store for a 2 hour window Saturday (today). Everyone was so helpful and kind in store. My new figure skates feel like heaven. They all took such good care of me and made sure the skates would be great for what I need/ want to learn as well as helping fit them like a perfect heavenly glove. They took so much time and detailed care not only with me but with everyone else who was in there, for their various skating needs. I was anxious and nervous after the other skate fiasco but now I'm actually so happy it led me to go this route. I only wished I had flown in sooner for more time on my new skates before camp starts :) I cant wait to put my skates on, on the ice!! (Plus, i got a sweet bag and beautiful skate dress and fun lovely blade protectors, and a few other basic necessities.) So stoked! I am so happy and I'm definitely going back to get help with online skates or rollerskates as i can start that right outside my own door at home. Ah. I feel like this place is run by skating angels. I'm so grateful."

"I was looking to try on roller skates and found this shop. They have the best selection in the Valley second only to the internet! Kendra was extremely helpful and gave me a few pairs to try on. I ended up going with her recommendation and got a pair of skates along with wheels and toe covers. You can customize the boot/skate combo which avoids the extra expense if you don't like the stock wheels. They have a great variety of roller skates, wheels, and other gear. Kendra even put my new wheels & toe caps on and taught me about what she was doing. Great experience for sure!"
