"I have to agree with other posts about this pharmacy. Requested a med refill, went to pick it up a few days later and they tell me that it’s not ready due to insurance issues and I need to contact my doctor first. No one from the pharmacy called or notified me that there was any issue when I requested my refill. I recently moved and my past pharmacy would send me messages to notify me of any delay and that they would often work with my insurance to figure out a solution. This pharmacist told me there was nothing he could do. Very frustrating."
"I hope you have two hours to spare waiting on hold if you try to call the pharmacy. They'll put you on hold, pick up and put you back on hold because presumably the phone rings again since it doesn't want you on hold forever, but they just keep putting you on hold. Hire. More. People. If that's difficult, clearly you're not paying your employees enough."
"*Specifically just rating my Covid booster and flu shot administration experience here for those who would just appreciate knowledge of Covid safety standards before signing up to visit a provider. As of 10/10/22.* I booked my appointment online beforehand and filled out the two-page (one page double sided) paperwork beforehand as well. Always a good idea, when possible, to make an appointment vs. trying to get a vaccine on a walk-in basis, I think. It turned out the form was just for the flu shot, so there was another almost identical form to fill out for the Covid booster too. Not a problem, just wish the Walgreens site/confirmation email would have provided both. As far as masking goes, it’s fully optional in the store and most patrons do not partake. The pharmacy tech/assistant at the register wore a surgical mask. The two other workers (who I believe were a tech and a pharmacist) in the pharmacy were not masked. One coughed every couple of minutes and made no attempt to cover his mouth, though I think they coughed with their mouth closed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The vaccine administrator turned out to be the third person in the pharmacy, which is why I believe they are a full pharmacist. They had a surgical mask on when I walked in the vaccination/clinic room. The administration was fairly quick and not noteworthy in terms of pain with the injection—par for the course. The provider did start taking off their mask before I had left the room after administering the vaccines. I was told to wait a few minutes (I think 6-8?) to make sure I didn’t have an adverse reaction, but that I did not need to inform the staff of whether I was feeling ok after that time passed. I’m not sure about the ventilation in the store, so I can’t speak to that. I’m glad that at the bare minimum, the vaccine administrator put on a surgical mask for the administration. A couple of improvements I’d like to see around Covid and general respiratory health measures: - mandatory staff and patron masking (at LEAST pharmacy staff and patrons) with KN94/N95 masks or better - intentional air quality improvements, including HEPA air purifiers and optimized HVAC filtration, with status made transparent to all (e.g., CO2 levels displayed, air purifier filter status shown) Overall, I’m rating this four stars for Covid precautions, which is definitely too generous but because the bar is now so low, what I saw/experienced here was actually better than I expected in the area of masking."
"Customer Service is bad. The coolers never work. The beer is hot from front to back. And it’s been this way for months and months. I know because I shop there almost every day. They don’t have a lot of other products because of the refrigeration. There shelves are empty. They don’t seem to care."
"Customer service at this location leaves much to be desired but that is probably expected when the manager himself is rude and lacks manners. They seem pretty well stocked except that one time they ran out of bagged ice. Some items do have periodic sales which help make them affordable. All in all, Walgreens is unapologetically overpriced. Check-out is usually a breeze though and the store is situated in a quiet shop area in a good neighborhood. I feel safe stopping here later in the evening/night. I have yet to use their pharmacy so cannot speak to that."
