"I would like to use this Walgreens to fill prescriptions because it is the closest one to my house. However, when I call they put me on hold for 5 minutes and then disconnect. I called back and they're on their lunch break for a half hour. I give up. My insurance does not cover CVS. I will pay with a Good RX discount to avoid this hassle. Please step up your game Walgreens"
"I acutally love the regular Walgreens store workers and cashiers. The pharmacy is the reason for giving one star. We have a prescription with a short window to pick up each month. We will get automated calls that "we are still working on it". When we call back it says out of stock. Then we call to hear that it will be ready after 5:45, 4 days after the RX was requested. Show up to get it and are told they do not have it. No offer to help us find a Walgreens that may have it in stock, no apology. Told us to try to call a 24 hr Walgreens. After calling 5 locations, we found a location willing to share the info that another location was showing they had it (in the system). So we try to fill there but cannot because this location needs to take action to release it so the new one can fill it. They neglected to do this so we could not pick up at the location half hour away. So, today I go in person, and the pharmacist filling in tried to help but it is not her normal work location so she could not do anything as didn't have authorization at this location. So after I leave to go home, I get a call from her, saying they found it and its ready...wth???!!!! You can't make this up. She was honestly very helpful and trying to do the right thing, I am not blaming her. After this fiasco, I will never go to this pharmacy again. I am transferring all of my prescriptions today. Customer service in the pharmacy is terrible and they need to step up in a big way or they will lose alot of customers. It is close to my house, but I am willing to drive elsewhere and spend the gas so I never have to deal with them again."
"I have used Walgreens for years to fill my prescriptions. I had all of my prescriptions transferred to another chain today due to the utter incompetence of this particular location. The pharmacist's religious and political views should not effect my ability to receive my medication. I am on a controlled medication with a national shortage but I still manage to pickup my meds every month within a reasonable time frame. Not at this Walgreens. I got treated like crap and dismissed no less than 3 times in 2 weeks. My meds were put "on hold" for insurance review when the actual issue was that the pharmacist refuses to even place an order for my medication. I can walk to this Walgreens but will no longer shop at Walgreens at all if this is how they allow their business to be mishandled."
"I love my neighborhood Walgreens. I'm always greeted when I walk in the door. The employees are very helpful and personable. They take the time to remember the little things. I'm appreciative of all the work they do like staying open on holidays and all their kindness. Keep up the great work!"
"I’ve never been a fan of this Walgreens. I refuse to get my prescriptions here even though I live within walking distance. I went in to pick up my photos which should have been an easy in/out process, instead I was there for 20+ minutes. Customer service was prompt, but the communication is to be desired. The employee pulled my pictures right away, but then didn’t cash me out. She went behind the divider looking for a piece of paper (which I had found out was a copyright release after painstakingly waiting without employee letting me know what she was doing). When she finally came back to the register and I inquired what was going on, she then told me about needing a copyright release and then she needed proof that I had permission for my photos. She called the manager for help in finding the copyright release which they were out of. The manager replied they needed copies but didn’t think the copy machine worked and both she and the employee went to the back of the store where it was located only to come back to the scanner using a release they took from someone else’s order. All of this could’ve been avoided had the employee communicated with me in the first place. After calling home to find said copyright release I still had to fill out the paperwork. Seems as though critical thinking and problem solving is lacking. Usually if you don’t have permission to use a photo the word PROOF appears on the picture anyway."
