"Oil change and all the checks that go with it. Bought my truck there (there were some issues with that) and have had it serviced there since. Lately, I have lost all faith with their service (?). Time before, they failed to replug something they had unplugged. Result, engine light and another 30 mile trip. They told me that an intermittent light would be hard to diagnose unless it was on when I came in. I made no appointment, just showed up. It took a manager to figure how they messed up. This time it was a wrench that appeared when my dash lights flickered or went out or I lost power. Never stayed on. Again, same story.... unless they could see it happening, no use bringing it in. I had to be stranded first. A meeting with the service manager lead to her dumping it on inexperienced workers. You know they have 70+ service techs and they just can't guarantee everyone's work. Gee, that was just what I wanted to hear. I am done. Lost all faith in San Tan. The only time I will be back is if no one else is available. BTW...went to a local mom and pop. The tech knew exactly what the problem was just from talking with me. Also, the issue was all over the Internet. BUYER BEWARE...."

"I warn you always select your service advisor and avoid ROBERT PENCE. He is unprofessional and does not communicate anything unless you reach out. Even when reaching out he will not care to look into any issue and will not care to explain to you. I had waited over a month for this appointment and was a waste of time and gas. AVOID AVOID AVOID ROBERT PENCE. Other than him the service here is usually great."

"Quick Lane at Ford dealers is supposed to be a separate service area for more basic things like oil change. At SanTan Ford it's just a sign above the regular service center. Need oil change? Make an appointment but next available is at least a week out, oh and it will take 5 hours. If you want to see how Quick Lane is supposed to work check out Chapman Ford in Scottsdale. Don't go to SanTan Ford expecting an oil change on your lunch break."

"We brought our car in for a routine oil change and to check the a/c. We did not get an estimate until 5 mins before the service shop closed, they were going to charge us over $3,000 for the repair and assumed we were going to pay and did not ask for permission before calling. We were not able to pay that amount and had to rush to the dealership to get the car before they closed. After having a third party mechanic also diagnose the vehicle they charged us $800 to repair the same issue. This has been the second time they have tried charging a absurd amount for something that turned out to be a trivial fix."

"San Tan Ford has been a nightmare from the start, but I'll stick to the reason why I'm unhappy with the service department on this particular visit. I brought in my 8 month old Fiesta to get the door trim fixed as it had already started peeling and bubbling. I was told it would be a one day turn around, ready before noon the day after I dropped it off. Two days later I received a call saying they were were not capable of working on the door and had to outsource my vehicle to a real shop. Four days later I still have not received my vehicle. When I asked both representatives that I have now spoken to about a rental they both ignored my question telling me the car was almost done. Six days without a vehicle becomes a setback but they do not seem worried about this customer. During this trip I also opted to have some stains cleaned on my seat, which in my paperwork is covered as free service. I was told they will not honor my contract but charge me $35 to clean the one seat. I declined, and was only offered the free service I was due according to my documents after they told me about the delay to my vehicle. I think because I'm young they do not respect what I have to say and believe they can push me around. However, I did spend $24000 on a brand new car and would expect at least a modicum of respect. Edit 14 Dec '16: I received a call to pick up my car saying it had been completed. When it pulled around I immediately saw the door trim was not properly installed and was in no way parallel to the door or even in line with itself. Two of the four doors that were peeling were not even fixed. I have to return again for further work and hope someone with eyes fixes the issues this time around."
