"My appointment on March 11had a great beginning. At the end of the evaluation you suggested a bite , Occlusal, adjustment. At first I declined, then asked , is there any downside, and you said no. Well there was , I was charged an additional cost of $288 for possibly 5 minutes for this treatment. You could have mentioned that before treatment. I could also share some fault in as much I should have asked how much. However I was prepared to pay the $190 I was told before the appointment. Actually I was surprised there was any additional cost at all. Needless to say I left your office in shock, especially after asking you for any kind of senior on non insurance discount. I'm having second thoughts concerning becoming one of your regular patients. Also will talk to the referring dentist concerning your patient tactics. Garvin Nix"
"I have been been going to Gustus Dental for over 20 years. The level of care and office staff has not wavered. Your comfort is their goal! And now that Dr Gustus' son Colin has taken over the practice that same care and concern continues. Highly recommend them!"
"Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienists was extremely polite and caring. Dr. Gustus is miles ahead of most other dentists I've dealt with. I feel like he's one of the few dentists to actually listen to my issues without talking down to me. Can't recommend him enough."
"Office staff were great. Dr. Gustus is very professional and engaging. He diagnosed my issue and advised me of treatment. It was when I checked out the visit became less enjoyable. My bill was 506 dollars for a 30 minute visit. I was charged for an emergency visit,though I never was advised nor indicated that my visit was an emergency. Then I was charged 288 dollars for a 5 minute procedure and 100 dollars for 2 x-rays.To compound my shock, there wasn't even a senior discount! So,though the staff and Dr, we're great,I sadly won't be returning to Comprehensive Family Dentistry"
"I was a patient of Dr Gustus Sr. He was the best! He was professional and had no problem answering all my questions. I was sad when he decided to retire but happy for him. His son Dr Colin Gustus took over and I'm very pleased. I know his dad is very proud of him. He has good work ethic and makes going to the dentist a positive experience. His staff are all very friendly and greet everyone with a welcoming smile. I would highly recommend Comprehensive Family Dentistry."
