SmartStyle Hair Salon 2150 East Tangerine Road Located Inside Walmart #3379, Oro Valley, AZ 85737

"I had the BEST experience at this salon tonight! I was supposed to get my hair washed at another salon at about 5:30pm but my hairdresser called at around 3:30pm and said she was ill and couldn't do it. I was at the end of a three week visit and going back to Colorado tomorrow. I have a little longer than midback length hair, I hadn't washed for days in anticipation of my appt so it really needed washing. My sister and I called 4 other salons in the area and all were "booked". So I saw this salon was in our area, and we frequent Walmart for shopping, but I've never used a salon at one before. I was fortunate to have Stephannie answer the phone. Even though it was supposed to close at 6pm, and she had 5:15 appt, she said to come about 5:45pm and she would do the wash! She was personable, kind, fun, and responsive to my requests. I had a great wash, comb out and dry as she didn't want me to go out with wet hair and she stayed late to do it. I would go back to her every visit (and ask for Stephannie) as I was so pleased!"

"My stylist, Maryssa Sanchez, is a hair genius. She has fixed terrible work done by others when I was traveling, and she ALWAYS makes me feel beautiful when I walk out the door. Yay!"

"Horrible haircut. I paid them to butcher my hair. NOT what I asked for, and too short to even be able to fix. I don't know what she was thinking. She KNEW she was cutting it too short and just wrong all together but just kept going. I'm so upset. I took my little boy there (easy to cut loves getting haircuts) and all his "hairdresser" could do was say she wasn't a barber and couldn't do this line, something even I have done. And had a really bad attitude. And left his hair unblended, Maryssa maybe? Mine may have been MaryAnn. All blond hair. Please don't waste your money. I'm so upset I could cry. Manager was rude just dealing with something on the phone. I went there a while back also and the lady was wired, charged me for styling which I didn't ask for at all. I should have known I would be screwed over again. Just don't take the chance. I will never go back there. Update: Trying to work with it so I can live with it the next few months without having to wear a hat everyday. But there is no rhyme or reason to it. It looks like she literally picked up chunks of hair and snipped them off."

"Traveling. Didn't have time to grab a cut from my stylist before we left FLA. Needed a cut. BAD. And lots of events this week in AZ where pics are going to be involved. Working from the Walmart parking lot today (#vanlife), googled the shop. Tonya got great reviews. And they were right. She did a great job on my cut. And she's super pleasant. Impressed. Thanks!!!"
