"I went into the Kingman store for a quick haircut tonight and waited for the only woman in the store cutting hair at the moment (the other woman was out front buying a car I guess). When she was done cutting the man’s hair, he made a comment referring to me, saying “I bet this girl is Italian” and I said “no” Trying to end the conversation, he then asked “no?” as if not to believe me and the hairdresser said, but you have dark and curly hair and I said “it’s because I’m Mexican” and the man said “oh do you know any good Mexican jokes” and I said “no do you” and he said “none that I would tell you” and the woman said she had a funny one. She said, “why do Mexicans have small steering wheels so that they can drive their car with handcuffs on” I said “wow that’s really terrible” both of them laughed, I was extremely uncomfortable and thought I should just leave but I have problems with public confrontation, and I feel like I shouldn’t be forced to publicly defend myself against two racists in a store alone at night, so I just sat there quietly as the guy said, “thanks for being a good sport”, and walked out as if I was a willing participant to their rude comments. After he left, the lady tried to make jokes about being white, and how white people are the worst, as if to backtrack on the fact that she had already made racist comments towards me. I didn't laugh or Respond in a positive way so she condescendingly asked me if I was young as if my age meant that I was being sensitive. I went through with the haircut because I wasn’t gonna have time to find another place as I have a really busy week ahead of me graduating college and again am uncomfortable with confrontation. I agreed with everything she said, and let her do the cut so I could get out of there quickly. It wasn’t really what I wanted but I was done dealing with her. When I left, I gave her a five dollar tip because I didn’t want to be the Mexican that didn’t tip. This whole experience made me extremely uncomfortable, and I wont be returning to the store. I Will definitely be warning people about this place and their behavior. When I went home, I said I was over it but after talking to my family about it, they insisted that I complain, and that I should not have Paid for my haircut let alone left a tip. The more I thought about it I realized how disgusting and inappropriate this behavior is and I was willing to deal with it because I wanted the experience to be over quickly, but I shouldn’t let people get away with this behavior and continue to make other people uncomfortable I hope that you will do something to fix this So that customers don’t experience racism the way I did in your store tonight."

"I received a coupon in the mail. I went online, made an account with them & when I was ready to go in, I checked in before I even left my home. I got there, told them who I was & was called within 10 minutes by Amy. She asked me what I wanted, I told her & she cut it almost perfectly. I actually wanted more off the back but I decided to wait until next time. Store was clean."
