"Compared to other AJ locations this one is not a favorite. I still love the unique food and gifts items, many specialty items locally made, hot food and soup/salad station and a sushi bar. The bakery is always busy and the ice tea selection is awesome. This is the only grocery I have seen this! Love it."
"We came for the iced tea… After getting our number and waiting for the team behind the counter to figure out a bakery order, they skipped our number and the 4 people after us! The tea was delicious when we finally got it, but would it be so hard to have a dedicated beverage counter?"
"This is the third time I have purchased food from this store that is expired or had gone bad. For a higher end grocery store I should not be getting home and finding the Parmesan is moldy and then I look at the rest of the food and my salad dressing I purchased expires on the 20th of October… that’s in 4 days- mind you this is Kraft dressing which typically has a very long shelf life. I feel stolen from."
"The bakery dept alone is poorly ran. Amber the manager of the department is never there. Maybe one day a week to pull things out of a freezer and put on a table. Maggie the manager in training is a favorite player who will not acknowledge anyone she does not like. The two of them go out of their way to cut hours and over full positions. They make promises they can’t keep and order what they do not need instead of a customer request. They cut off cake orders over the weekend so that the one cake decorator doesn’t get behind and both managers can have the weekends off. It’s sad because customers get mad at the employees working the counter. They get angry about how dirty it is, how there doesn’t seem to be enough staff to run a smooth environment. That is all due to the lack of leadership that both managers choose not provide. They are understaffed, they over look health code violations, and simply think of no one but themselves."
"This review is solely based on the floral department. We ran in to grab some flowers and the lady (Lisa Davis) that worked there was so incredibly friendly and helpful. She ended up putting together a bouquet within our price range. Thanks Lisa!! You put a smile on our face and your kindness meant more than I will ever be able to express."
