"Me and my son (5 year old) went to go buy these krabby patty toys for him since he wanted the gold SpongeBob so we came here. We found them and they were being sold for 2 for 1 dollar. There was 8 boxes so I took them since the chances are low to get the gold one. They rang me up and it came out to 18 dollars. I let them know they were advertising them for clearance sale for 2 for 1 and showed them as shown on picture. The wannabe manager came and said she can only do 2 of them but she will not do the rest making me put them back even after they had them on sale and didn’t even fix it. In Arizona Federal Trade Commission regulations say advertising must be truthful and not designed to mislead which this was. Under law of Arizona Revised Statutes Title 44. Trade and Commerce § 44-1522. Unlawful practices;  intended interpretation of provisions (a) The act, use or employment by any person of any deception, deceptive or unfair act or practice, fraud, false pretense, false promise, misrepresentation, or concealment, suppression or omission of any material fact with intent that others rely on such concealment, suppression or omission, in connection with the sale or advertisement of any merchandise whether or not any person has in fact been misled, deceived or damaged thereby, is declared to be an unlawful practice. Also law 35-14-111 - Misrepresentation of price. No person shall misrepresent the price of any commodity or service sold or offered, exposed, or advertised for sale by weight, measure, or count nor represent the price in any manner calculated or tending to mislead or in any way deceive a person. This was done to us by this so called manager who cussed in front of my child when she yelled across the store that it has been 2 mins where was the guy with the bike that was inside. Like really giving some guy 2 mins to shop… terrible manager, terrible service, breaking regulations and laws. I’ll give them a couple of days to reach out to me to provide me with the goods that were advertised before I report them to federal trade commission"
