Walgreens

"Sat on hold for almost 30 minutes waiting to talk with the pharmacy about a prescription. I’m sick, so I can’t go in to the store discuss this. They don’t have a proper hold system that lets them answer calls in order. After 2 minutes of holding they pick up, say nothing, and but you back on hold. After 30 minutes of waiting I was “disconnected.” This happened again after 20 more minute of waiting. When I called and spoke to a store employee he told me there’s nothing he can do and that I could just come into the store. When I asked for help, explained I’m sick, and asked if he could get me a pharmacist he hung up on me. They do not start filling prescriptions until they speak to you, either in person or over the phone. They don’t take it upon themselves to start filling prescriptions as they receive them. Of course, since they don’t answer this means you have to go in, ask about your prescription that was sent over 2 hours ago, and be told “we just received it, give us an hour.” Every time! They are so unbelievably rude here. I hate that CVS has limited pharmacy hours, because Walgreens is the absolute worst to work with. I can’t remember dealing with a business that truly cared so little."

"There's no security guards here so vagrants just like to walk in and walk out with a bunch of stuff without paying. I bet you they'd change their tune real quick if someone, in the free state of ARIZONA, pulls a gun on them. Calling the cops is too late. There has to be a physical security guard there, or else this stupidity is gonna keep happening. 1 star until you guys figure this out. "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." Stand up Americans. Stop being so soft and letting bums get away scot-free. If I acted like them I wouldn't even work, and I would just go to every store I like and grab anything I want and leave to go do some drugs in the nearest alleyway. Stop giving these losers handouts at the stoplights. They don't deserve a damn thing, and the wrath of God abides on them."

"Charles R Walgreens would be so disappointed in what customer service is now offered to his customers. Needless to say, I have tried to give you the benefit of the doubt. I am asking myself (whatever happened to stores wanting to be known for their customer service)... I work hard for my money, I'm sure there has to be a drugstore that still has good old-fashioned customer service. Whatever happened to the phrase " It's about quality not quantity" Definitely be seeking out a store that will appreciate my business."

"Walgreens is open 24/7 which is something I find particularly convenient when I am up late. Unfortunately it is located next to a bus stop where many members of the homeless community seem to gather. The employees here are very helpful. I think my favorite part of the shopping experience was that I was able to give this firm dollars in exchange for goods which I found useful. I think I was better off after spending my money here, which I did voluntarily and knowing full well that there were other options. Stuff like this is great and I will probably shop here again when I have more dollars to spend."
