"Buyer beware as the addage goes. But at this store not because of quality of product but rather by the very nature this store enables thievery from your vehicle. My story is this: on 02/10/24 at 9:40 pm I rode my bicycle to this store and locked it securely to the cart rack right in front. 15 minutes later I went back to my bike only to discover my brand new $100 Blackburn lightset installed that day was stolen. I immediately spoke with the manager Jose who stated yes it would be on video but that I needed to file a police report (in Tucson that type of crime must be reported on line). So I "happily" complied and 4 days later I was able to find Jose working while I too was available. When attempting to give Jose the police report he stated that the police report must be submitted by a police officer. You have got to be kidding me. So now we enable thievery by mandating a police report to be filed before action can be taken {and in many cases that has culminated in a time lapse whereby there is now a higher probability of that video not being available}. But now we increase those odds exponentially into the thiefs favor by first having to file online and then finding an officer willing to tackle that task. if I were a thief I would be thrilled with a 1-in-1000 odds of a security video even being reviewed. Hey Fry's, employ that security tactic in store to combat shoplifting. Instead, even on a scant of suspicion you run the video and pass any potentially negative info to all relevant associates. So happy to see you value a can of vegetables (what 34 cents cost to you) higher than hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars of customer property. Your moral compass is so screwed up I'm surprised you could find yourself in your parking lot. Oh have no fear, we'll get a police report filed and an officer involved so as to find you"
"Bought a sandwich from the deli on my lunch break. It had several bites that were hard as a rock, as if the lettuce wasn't washed or something. So I went to the customer service counter and encountered the rudest and most unpleasant woman I've ever dealt with before. She argued with me for several minutes about how I have to bring the plastic box that the sandwich came in. I told her that I spit food back out into it, so I threw it away because that would have been gross. She then sighed heavily and gave me the most horrendous look I've ever received. Like she wanted me to stop existing because she had to do the unimaginable task of walking 20 steps to the deli to get one of the barcodes. I will never return to this Fry's."
"A four pack of expo markers came with only three markers. It must be a manufacture error, but I had to still pay full price. No fun 10% off would’ve been nice."
"This is about what I expected from a grocery store in Tucson. I found everything I needed, although I had to put one item back because it was damaged to exchange it for a new one. The items also seemed picked over at some sections, such as yogurt and bread. Overall, I would come back but be aware of what day you choose to go."
"The inside of this store is fine, no issues with the food, layout, etc. I would warn others about the bathrooms and the parking lot, though. The bathrooms always looks dirty and homeless & crazy people hang out there. Once a woman stared at me the entire time I was in the bathroom and yelled at me after I was finished washing my hands...weird. As for the parking lot, both my daughter's car and my car have been hit while we were inside the store shopping. The passenger side mirror was broken off her car and my back window was completely smashed. I only go here when I absolutely have to, then I try to shop as quickly as possible."
