uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

"Brought in my phone for a screen replacement. After the repair it seems my phone can only connect to the network about 50% of the time. I bring it back, they run a diagnostic and admit that there is something wrong with the phone, but that it's T-Mobile's fault and it's an issue with their SIM card. I call T-Mobile, they give me a new sim card and the problem persists. The engineer says it's most likely the repair shop fumbling. I go back to the repair shop, and they tell me that actually, it's probably Samsung's fault, because conveniently they've been having a lot of similar connectivity issues with Samsung phones for the past several weeks, and that it's their fault . Sure enough, there are no reports of Samsung users having any issues with network connectivity in the area. In the past few weeks Samsung has not released any fixes or made any press release to a problem that this single store has apparently encountered a number of times (with customers that presumably themselves also reached out to their mobile providers and Samsung, and customers encountering the same problem across the country would be doing the same). All I have to go on is these people's word that there's no way my phone breaking the same day they fix it is their fault. And they refuse to give me a refund for the expensive "repair" they performed. Whether they are incompetent, dishonest, or both I could not tell you but I will not be returning and I do not recommend them."

"Repairs were great! They had to order parts for my repair, which is understandable, my phone isn't as common. I was told the parts would be in 2 business days after I brought the device in and that I would be notified when they arrived. The previously mentioned pickup time came and went, and I never received any updates. Called twice over the next day and a half and was told new, different times each time I called. Eventually received a text when the repair was done, but none of the other updates they'd promised. I didn't mind the wait time, but I'd appreciate being notified of changes to the repair schedule. Overall communication could use improvement, but the work was good."

"Awesome service! We had them replace the screen on a Pixel 7 Pro and they were prompt, communicative, and did a fantastic job not making us feel pressured. Convenient drop off and quick turnaround. Great job!!"

"Waste of my time. I went to 2 uBreakiFix locations because the first one said they don’t get any parts for repairs. So they’re out of business? I don’t get it. I went to this location and got a price quote for a repair and was told I could think about it and put in a work order over the phone once I was ready. So I called to put in the work order and they said I have to come in person. It’s a far drive for me. I went right away and the second I walk in, I was told they couldn’t fix it. The guy didn’t even look at it. He just said that no uBreakiFix could fix it. I asked him just to take a look and he still didn’t look but said nothing could be done. The hinge on the laptop is broken. I understand if they really can’t fix it, but why’d they have to string me along for so long. I had to make 3 trips to that place and talk to them on the phone only to be told they couldn’t help me. So frustrating."
