"I sincerely believe the “people” giving higher than 2 stars reviews are paid bots. Please do not come here. Granted, we did not drink any alcoholic drinks, but I don’t even think the drinks could save the food rating. First off, you have to order everything at the bar which was weird, because were you would order and pick up food there’s a register there I just don’t know if they’re short staffed maybe? Second, the food is over priced, $5 per taco is too expensive. We ordered all of our tacos on flour tortillas. Even though the flour tortillas do look like they are homemade, they are served cold and what seems to be undercooked. The portion of meat that they fill the tortilla with is shameful & embarrassing. My husband got a fish taco and a brisket taco. The serving of breaded fish was very small and overly breaded. The brisket was extremely dry and also a small portion. I got a fish taco that was exactly the same and I also got the Baja grill shrimp taco, there were maybe 4 very small shrimp and this taco. All of our tortillas were cold and hard. Our kid got the chicken tender kid meal and the chicken tenders looked like fried clam strips. They were small, overly breaded and extremely dry. I am telling you the only thing that we ordered that was good & hot was the tater tot’s that came with the kids meal. You can see from the photos that the cabbage garnish is bigger than the meat portion in the tacos. Please do not waste your money here. When we left, none of the staff asked us how our food was, so they have to know that it’s not good. We left immediately walked down the strip mall & ate at Jersey Mike’s Subs. Once again, please do not waste your money here."

"For my first trip to the Rusty Taco I ordered 2 fajita chicken tacos, and a egg and cheese with bacon Taco. The sign says all tacos are made with corn tortillas. Maybe I missed it but the breakfast was on a flour tortilla so I had to give that to a coworker due to my gluten intolerance. Also, the kind women that took my order put beef tacos instead of the chicken tacos I ordered. She was new so I will not leave a bad review for that reason. They corrected it to chicken after I noticed the receipt showed beef. I tipped one dollar, and was charged extra another dollar extra because the beef tacos are 50 cents more. Again, not worth the hassle to harass the staff to get it corrected. The two tacos and chips I was able to eat were phenomenal. They're not quite authentic style but they aren't texmex either. I thoroughly enjoyed the habanero salsa. It has an amazing kick. In Summary: double check your order on the receipt immediately, and specify what kind of tortilla if you have an allergy."

"We really liked everything g about our experience. We ordered food to go from the bar. The bar tender had suggestions and helped us to make the right choices. The tacos can come as tacos, bowls, or salads. The salsas were fresh and absolutely delicious. The grilled Baja shrimp as a salad as a highlight. We’ll be back to try more."
