Reviews
"Came here to catch up with friends. Sat outside on the patio. The vibe was great. The concept is great. Decor is great. Our waitress was friendly and got the job done. I weight my restaurant experience very significantly based on the quality of the food and here I have a few quibbles. For a restaurant that calls itself a chophouse with $18 burgers (that’s burger price only, no sides) the expectation is for a delicious high end steakhouse style burger. I’d call the burger patty pretty lackluster. The medium burger was overcooked. The portions were fairly small. All three of us ordered the burger and all felt like the value was not there in what we ordered. We also ordered wings for the table as an appetizer. I’m not a huge fan of wings in general and these wings didn’t really change my mind. The salt and vinegar fries were good but they have an aftertaste of older oil. I think upgrading the fat used to prepare the fries would produce some epic quality fries as everything else about these fries were great."
"Service was slow. We had to ask for silverware several times. Asked for my burger medium but got medium rare. Fries were limp. But I was starving and hangry. The burrata and beets salad was really good - bright flavors, some sweetness, some acidity."
"Elevated bar food. Salmon was pan sautéed ( too fried and too much salt in coating for me) and then baked. Salmon was crunchy and thoroughly cooked - not raw, which is the way I like it. Steak sandwich ( lots of small steak pieces on a browned bun). But note that flavor reflects grass fed beef (didn'tlike thus flavor) (i.e., this is a sustainability restaurant). Fries were ok. Ambiance was an upscale bar. Lots of light and seating. Good place for a large group. Outstanding, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable work staff."
"My wife and I met her son, wife, and grandchildren for a Father's Day get-together. However, we were an hour early, so we started at the bar. Great food, service this day was awesome, and the bartender made excellent well drinks. We will definitely visit again."
"We chose Hand cut by chance and are pleasantly surprised. Our waiter was kind, thorough, and patient. He answered all of our questions and had some great recommendations. We started our dinner with the meatball appetizer which was tasty and a few delicious drinks. We weren't really sure what to expect but it was a great start to our meal. Dinner was equally good. My partner had the pork chop and I chose the ribeye. There are photos in Google of the menu that are outdated to no fault of the restaurant. I've uploaded new copies as the pricing has changed a good bit. My only wish is that the meals came with a side. Spending $54 for a rib eye and another $11 for mashed potatoes might be a hard pill for some guests. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
