"Food is Great don’t get me wrong but definitely over priced for bar food. Atmosphere sucks, staff’s attitude sucks, owner SUCKS!!!! Called in to place a order for pick up the owner answers all aggressive and says “ we don’t do take out” well buddy google states you do and from the looks of how empty your establishment is you may need all the business you can take. Definitely will not be back"
"UPDATE—— you can’t treat people the way you treat people and expect to stay in business. Actually, I guess it didn’t work for you did it, Doug because your business closed down, how SAD! ————————————— “BUYER BEWARE”, we are absolutely done with this place. We were tricked by the new sign hanging over the building but once again, I left with a very bitter taste in my mouth. Once we got there we were talking to Doug, who is the owner, and I have thanked him for his 21 years of service in our military. His enthusiasm of his new adventure sounded very charming to turn it into a sports bar. He expressed to us that he really worked on his menu and made more things affordable, such as his $10 bland no seasoning hamburger, just a plain burger on the bun, no cheese, no lettuce, no tomato, no onion. We ordered a old fashion made with Buffalo Trace (I can buy a bottle of that for $25), we watched him put ice in our glasses and then muddled the ice that turned into small fragments and watered down our drink. It was bad enough that he, is the owner but really didn’t know how to make an old fashion, duh! Here’s what really ticked us off. Upon having to ask for condiments, silverware, and our bill. We were extremely surprised that that tiny little “Affordable” drink that was $15, we were charged another up charge of four dollars for Buffalo trace, that is a bunch of Buffalo $rap. As I said this was our fourth time to try a new beginning, and not once did he ever make the other three visits corrected, I reminded him why we hadn’t been back. We are done. STAY AWAY!"
"We were headed here for lunch today after five of us hiked (along with our dog) to Tom's Thumb. We were starving. My husband called ahead to make sure they allowed dogs and to ensure they had availability for five of us. The guy on the phone said yes to dogs being allowed inside and out ("we don't care") and that there were only four people in there at the time. My husband then said "is the food good?" To which he responded yes and to hang up. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) the man did not successfully hang up. We heard him say to the people there "would I tell you if the food was bad?" And "leave your dog at home" and overall sounded less than pleasant to be around. Initially, we continued to listen thinking he'd realize he didn't hang up the phone and we'd let him know and that it was humorous in general. But when he continued talking about our brief conversation, we decided we would take our money elsewhere and not deal with this guy's sparkling personality."
"We walked in at 1:30pm on the Saturday to watch college football and get a bite to eat. There was one guy sitting at the bar. Never a good sign. The name of the joint includes "Sports Bar" but instead of hearing the exciting sounds of college football a completely bland pop rock soundtrack was playing. The kind where you cant tell one band from another. As we sat down the bartender sat a stand up menu in front of us that said domestic drafts, $3.55. We ordered a couple of Miller Lites. We had two more with our meal. When the bill came the beer charge was $4.55 per. I asked the bartender to come over and I asked him about it. He said the menu price was the Mon-Fri Happy Hour price. Then he said they had actually discontinued that promotion. I said... If that's the case then why did you hand me the menu? By this time the owner chimed in and got very aggressive. He told me to leave and never come back. Who operates this way? It was only a buck a beer. Why be dishonest? He actually blamed me, the customer, for just wanting to drink for cheap at his expense. No. I want honest representation of what I am purchasing. Who complains about $4.55 a beer? No one in No. Scottsdale. Don't try to trick people. I will take his advise. I won't be back."
"No wonder this place was empty on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30. We went to watch college football and there was 1 other person in the entire restaurant. Bartender put a beer menu in front of us and I even commented that my brand of beer was $3.55 per pint. After having what I say was a very good sandwich, the bill came and we were charged $4.55 per beer. When brought to the attention of the bartender, he replied,” I just do what I’m told”. The owner/ chef came by and said that was his price$4.55 and that” he does not pay to have us sit and drink there”! I spoke that that was very poor business practice and he shouted to never come back. Hey, DONT WORRY, your place will never survive with that attitude."
