Starbucks

"This morning around 8.50 am, I visited this location to buy a latte. I used the drive thru service, and when I use the drive thru, I don't tip, because the staff member performs basic tasks: takes my order, processes my payment and hands me the order. Do you tip every worker who makes minimum wage? Do you tip the cashier at the grocery store? Do you tip the Amazon employee who works minimum wage at the warehouse? Do you tip the person who processes your Amazon return at the desk? The staff member I interacted with at this Starbucks location was a young woman with a ponytail, dark hair and glasses. For some reason, at times, people feel entitled to a tip. If there is no added value to the service provided, then I don't tip. I tip at the restaurant, because I'm sitting at the table where the server brings food, removes the dishes, checks on me 2 times during the meal, goes back and forth etc. The girl who helped me this morning didn't even meet the basics for a standard, proper service. She saw that I didn't tip, so when she handed me the order and I said "thank you, have a good day" she decided that since I didn't tip, she wasn't supposed to reply. Basic mannerisms shouldn't depend on tips. However, I guess that since customers are free to not tip, employees are free to decide if they want to talk with customers or not."

"Max, if you see this, charging me for a SIDE CUP of half and half is insane, i’ve never had someone charge me 4.95 for a side of half and half, never had anyone ask me if i drank out of a cup before fixing my drink, never have been given the worlds HARDEST most stale scone ever and i go here EVERYDAY, idk if you were having a hard day but i did not cause that. Felt as if i was being discriminated or something by your attitude and the way you handled everything. Love the girl with the braids she’s so sweet and the manager too!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME ♥️♥️♥️"

"I order at tall cappuccino at this place by uber eats and i literally got half full of the coffe which is crazy. Yall should be less selfish with orders that we paid for."

"The baristas here make the best drinks! Always super friendly and courteous. If I am not sure what to get and I am in the mood to try something new, I love how they actually give me genuine recommendations for what drinks to try. They certainly know their stuff here and the inside of the cafe is always clean."

"I used to come to this location everyday, but then I realized some of their baristas can’t make drinks. However, the girl who wears the pink mask has excellent service and makes the best drinks. She should be training all of your employees because she knows the correct proportions and is quick at making drinks."
