"I can't stand rock chips on my car's hood and bumper; and every car I've had eventually gets hit with them. So, when I bought my last car I decided to have Smart Shield apply their film product to the front panels (fenders, hood, bumper). The product is nearly invisible. You have to look hard to even notice it. Having it installed will cost a few hundred dollars but, if you value your vehicle's appearance, it is worth it. I've had it on my car for six months and there's not a single rock chip."

"Bob at Smartshield has been a tremendous help with getting my car wrapped in protection film... three times! I bought my Evo X brand new in 2014 and initially had the dealership install clear bra. A couple years later a lady accidentally backed into it while it was parked (this all happened while I lived in Idaho). Thankfully, the clear bra protected my paint and all that needed to be replaced was the film itself. Fast forward a few months, I move to Arizona for a new job and I still needed to get the damage fixed (the lady's insurance was giving me the runaround). I contacted Smartshield since they were highly recommended to me by the installer in Idaho and Bob was able to get my car in that same week. Not only that, but the film he uses (Xpel Ultimate) covers the front edges of all the body panels to ensure the paint is fully protected. My old film didn't extend that far, so we went ahead and replaced the fenders, hood and side mirrors, too. My car looked AMAZING with this film on it. A couple months later I hit a blown out truck tire on the freeway and it destroyed the front end of my car... Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed since I had just gotten everything fixed. Thankfully, Bob was able to work with the body shop (Allard Collision, who I also highly recommend) and install new film for me with essentially no additional down time. I got my car back in EXCELLENT condition. It looked brand new again. Fast forward another year... A truck in front of me on the freeway flung a rock up and it hit my car, leaving a decently sized gash on the front bumper. Luckily, the film protected the paint again and Bob was able to replace the damaged portion without affecting the rest! I was pretty shocked to see the paint literally didn't have a scratch on it. I'm glad I invested in protection film because I would have had to repaint the whole front bumper again if I didn't. I also bought some custom headlights for my car and Bob was able to wrap those at the same time, protecting the entire front end of my car. I'm a very happy customer and will continue to use Smartshield for all my protection film needs. Bob is a great guy and will make sure his customers are well taken care of. If you're thinking about putting clear bra on your car, just do it and have Smartshield install it for you. It is well worth the investment!"
