"Good espresso based drinks. Concentrated but not bitter, proper roast for traditional Italian drinks. Nice barista, ceramic cups. Like a coffee place should be but almost invariably isn't in the U.S. Not expensive as some reviews have complained about."

"1 for coffee, 5 for staff, and 5 for atmosphere. Because of this, I wasn't going to leave a review, but after reading these other reviews, I'm surprised that the owner doesn't take notice and make some changes. 1. Change your coffee roaster. The coffee is far too bitter. Even after adding cream, the bitterness wasn't touched. 2. While I was in the store, multiple customers came in asking for milk alternatives, such as almond milk and oat milk. None were offered. This would be an easy fix to have some other milk alternatives available. 3. Your staff is super friendly. Keep up the good work. 4. I had a scone. It didn't taste fresh and probably would have been better if heated for 15 seconds in a microwave. At $4 per pastry item, the pastry items should be incredible. I think you could do much better. A business generating these types of reviews will not last long."
"This was my first time at this Cartel location. Their coffee never disappoints! I loved this space more than expected. It’s close to Target and many other shops, so skip Starbucks and support local. You won’t regret trying their signature crafted drinks."
