"We came here for lunch. It was super busy even on a rainy day. It was hard to find an inside table to eat at. The staff were friendly and worked hard to keep tables cleaned and to move through the lunch rush. My husband and I chose the mix and match meal. I ordered a plain potato and a half sandwich. I got the jalapeno turkey crunch. It was OK but not spicy at all, or any heat for that matter. My husband ordered the cheddar broccoli soup and the chicken salad. The soup was very bland and needed a lot of salt and pepper. Overall, I'm not impressed, but it wasn't bad. It's definitely not worth the money. I would go to Jason's deli over this place. I was really hoping this would be better. My kids snubbed their noses at everything, so we ended up having to go somewhere else for them."
"1st time eating here. Food was fresh & delicious. A lot for good price. Great customer service. And nice & clean restaurant."
"First time going here told the front counter employee that I like big portions of food and don't mind paying 20+ for said portions and when I finally got my food I was very disappointed in the quantity. Spent $22 and got a 6" sandwich with a kids baked potato and a side of Mac and I was told that the sandwich comes with a free side so your telling me I spent $15 on a 6" sub and 7 on a kids baked potato very disappointed."
"I’ve only been to MacAllister three or four times mostly because it’s kind of far from me. But where I live I’m pretty sure delis are banned. I cannot understand why There are no delis in the West Phoenix valley. I know I know everyone will tell you, Goodcents firehouse mr pickles (gross) Jersey Mike’s, blah blah blah... those are not delis. those are sub shops. for those that don’t know delis are like a mini market that have amazing sandwiches on any kind of bread you want. not just a hoagie roll. And many many meat options that are fresh sliced, from a deli case, and dozens of toppings to choose from. Anyway, McAllister’s is the closest thing to a real deli that I have found in West Valley so far. That said of the other two or three options that are so-called delis McAllister‘s is the best for two reasons, one price and two variety. My sandwich soda and side cost $15. not bad. The so-called deli across the street would have cost me over 30. In fact the last time I was there it was 35 for a sandwich side and a drink but that’s another story. This time around I got the beef and cheddar with horseradish sauce. Really good. I was not even hungry for that when I came in there, but I saw it on the menu and had to have it. I will say the cucumber salad was a little disappointing. they should just call that tomato salad. And their sweet tea was good as well. Service is really good and the place is clean. If it were closer to me I’d probably go there once a week at least. Frankly, it couldn’t be in a worse location. Nobody wants to be on that part of bell road."
"Kaitlyn was so happy to help us, she came over to make sure everything was good and refilled our drinks. We ordered an half Italian sandwich with a cup of Fire Roasted Veg soup, and a Black Angus Roast Beef Spud with a sweet tea. Oh my !! So good!! The sandwich had enough for a full sandwich and the spud was huge!! I started eating the spud before the picture (sorry)"
