"I ordered this from Amazon, but when it came, they were 2 different colors. Amazon refunded me. But when I called Southwest, they said there was nothing. Can do, however, they are the manufacturer. Poor customer service and I would not buy from them."
"Rather than provide a product that functions, or give a solution, I’m offered the option to return it at my expense, and incur a 15% restocking fee. Would rather share my experience with others and find my own solution, than pay them to take back a product that does not function. Will never do business with them again."
"Ordered a part and realized it would not fit even though their website says it would. Emailed them and sent an inquiry thru their "contact us" asking to cancel the order. Finally the next day they respond back and say it cant be cancelled, will have to return it. I told them their website showed order had not been processed, they say it is on it's way. Then the next day (3rd day from ordering it), I receive email stating part has been shipped out. Even though I had already been told is was already shipped and could not be cancelled. Wait for part to get here. When you open box up, there is no paperwork, no numbers on part or box. Have no way to tell if they even sent the correct part. Try to put part on vehicle and surprise.....it is not the correct one. You have to send an email to get a RMA #?, send pictures of part. Once you get that, then you can send it back. You have tk pay for shipping back. ($25). Their return policy says 10% restocking fee or $15 whichever is greater. NOT. More like 10% restocking fee plus $15. So basically, you end up with 1/2 of the original purchase price if you are lucky. Steer clear of this place. After reading other reviews, seems like this is the normal operating standard for them. They probably don't ever send the correct part out, so they can make their money by scamming people. Wish I would of read all the reviews beforehand.....hard lesson learned. Now to find the correct part from a reputable company."
"A government agency needs to investigate this scam going on. I also have been a victim of this company or companies. They go by Southwest Performance Parts or A-Team Performance, both have a non working phone number and have two addresses, one in Phoenix, AZ and the other in Boston, MA. I received defective and wrong parts then what I ordered and like so many others I emailed the company because a part was welded incorrectly and wouldn’t install due to this defect, I was told that they do not offer any warranty, technical support and that I should talk to a professional mechanic. What I need is a professional welder to properly weld and correct their defective intake manifold. I strongly recommend not doing any business with both companies. It is a legitimate scam. If you order a distributor, you may get a old used tire instead. This is not a joke!! Do not take this review lightly."
"I think this place is also calling themselves southwest performance parts. Poor customer service. You can't talk to a real person when you have a problem. They only correspond through email. Received wrong part. I had to send pictures of the wrong part twice, because different people kept responding through different threads. Went days between hearing back from them. I think they were hoping I finally would give up. Finally sent me a return label addressed to myself. I told them the return label was addressed wrong. It has now been 2 weeks, still no return label. I guess they are just trying to wear you down, til you quit responding. Well they won. I'm done with them. At this point, if I did get a return label, and sent them back the part, who knows if I would ever get a new part. I've been dealing with them for 7 weeks. Just going to take my loss. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY."
