About the Business
Art Salvage is a nonprofit Creative Reuse Center located at 610 North Foothills Drive East in Spokane, Washington. Our mission is to support the circular economy in the Inland Northwest by diverting usable materials from the waste stream and getting them into the hands of makers.
Appointments are available by appointment ONLY, Tuesday-Friday. Our dedicated board of Directors has generously donated $2,000 towards updating the sign outside of the building, and we are seeking additional support to raise another $1,500 for this project.
Volunteers are the heart of Art Salvage, working to process materials and get them into the hands of creatives. By becoming part of our community, you can receive exclusive discounts and special class prices.
We offer a variety of art making opportunities for all ages throughout the year, including classes, community events, and drop-in groups. Additionally, we welcome requests for art materials to support nonprofits and community groups that promote reuse and environmentally sustainable practices. Depending on the need and community impact, we can offer vouchers for materials in our creative reuse center. Join us in supporting a circular economy of creativity at Art Salvage.

"This place is amazing!!!! Also the staff was seriously so kind. She asked about what I was making and even gave me ideas. They offer classes too."
"Any sort of art you do from beads to sewing to painting to stamps, they have something for you and at pretty amazing prices. Sometimes you have to dig through a bin but it’s worth it if you’re a thrifty or starving artist."
