"They say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Luckily for me, theres much play to be had here. A nice, secluded venue that has fun for the whole family. It has a fun hedge maze outside and even some cool snowmobiles to drive in the winter. It is so cozy too! It feels like I've been here forever and know what's around every turn. The ballroom is a highlight, as it seems to always be hosting some event. For the parents, the bar serves its famous Red Rum after 5! If you want even more partying, make sure to check out Room 237. The resident in there always has her door open and people shout from in there all night long. Sounds like a lot of fun! Near the end of our stay, my dad seemed a little off, but it must've been because he enjoyed the place so much and hated to see it go. I really could spend a whole 5 months here, and I'm dying to come back!"
"Such a historic place with breathtaking views. Family friendly with lots of snow activities to do. The only concern we had was the snow tubing wasn’t available when we went due to low staffing. But all in all, it was a great place to hang."
"I cannot speak for the rooms or service, as I have never stayed the night here, but I have been to the lobby of the Timberline Lodge, and it is amazing. This is a historic landmark. Started my climb of Mount Hood with Timberline Guides here. They are generous enough to let those of us who are too cheap to get a room to sleep in the parking lot the night before (was getting up at 12:30 AM to meet the group, so $260 was a little much for half a night for me). Bathrooms are sparkling clean. Folks at the front desk were friendly as well. Even if you are not staying the night, do check out the lobby. A magnificent piece of architecture. Look forward to actually staying the night here in the future."
"Pink haired dude that works at reception is impossibly problematic. I noticed him being covertly abrasive. Every little thing seemed to be a problem with all customers. He intentionally misled me to the day lodge for equipment lockers by room number. When I spoke to people at the day lodge they told me it was at the main lodge. Customer service is not the right fit for him at all. Your business would be much better off with a replacement of any kind. The reason for such a low review has nothing to do with the lodge itself. It’s great, most people there are friendly. Atmosphere and food/drinks are good however you pay a lot for the convenience."
"Beautiful historic location for our work event. Not the best road conditions considering the ice storm the days prior, but they had a shuttle available if needed. They had a veteran discount for the rooms. The rooms are very small. But not unexpected for the age of the building. They had ear plugs, and fresh spring water in a glass jar in the room. Very cool visit! The catered dinner was phenomenal! The prime ribe was awesome."
