"All the people are very caring and the pets are well cared for."
"I called, had to leave a message. That was fine. They got back to me quickly, I told them I knew a family that had 9 dogs, of which, they needed to give away 6. They just sent a strange message that said they did not take any dogs from people. No explanations as to what that meant or why or if they knew of any other place this family could count on, I was told NO. Nothing else. Well I was baffled, still am. It was cut and dried. No questions answered, no help in any way. If anyone figures out why and what they meant, please enlighten me."
"Seemed very caring for my Brother's dog. The person at Ani-Care was very thorough in checking with his Manager to insure that the dog was to be released to me and I provided my ID as well. Pocket was with my brother when my Bro. passed away. Ani-care was where the Ontario police had taken Pocket until I could come to pick her up."
"This facility is probably the Best. A lady had a car accident. Her Dog was dropped off by the sheriff's dept. They cared for the Dog a couple day, until the lady could go to pick it up. I met her walking past my store, no car, no money, waiting for her Mother to pick her up, the Dog was in the shelter closing soon. I drove her too the shelter, it was closed but they opened and gave her the Dog. There were kennel fees , she had no money, This Shelter forgave the fees. She was crying holding her dog. I took her to her totaled car, they were closed, I dropped her and her Dog at Pilot, called her Mother. Bought her a pack of cigarettes. And She waited untill her mother picked her up. All worked out .BECAUSE THIS SHELTER CARED, NOT ONLY FOR ANIMALS, BUT THE HUMAN ASPECTS. THANK GOD FOR THESE PEOPLE AT THIS SHELTER. This is a no kill Shelter, I have picked up many dogs and 2 cats since 2005. I have dropped off dog food. There are many ways too help, the kennels are clean. Dogs well kept. Like I said Thank God for these caring people and this Shelter."
"To all the very negative people and comments about Ani Care! My wife and I went there a while ago and had a very pleasant experience! There was a very nice, polite, and charming young lady that helped us! Remember you don't work there so you don't know what all they have to deal with. Plus you don't always see how much the workers sacrifice or how much they really care when your not there. This is said with kindness, but if the negative people on this site know so much on how to run a shelter, then maybe they should go and work there themselves and see what it really takes to be able to deal with countless animals and people."
