"I had been using Drake for a number of years and during the last couple of years my furnace was periodically failing to light. Last year when one of their techs came to look at it he said that the electrical board was not telling him what the error codes were and didn't seem to be too alarmed. He cleaned it and it mostly worked fine for the rest of the season. At the end of December the furnace was still acting up and I wanted them to look at it again because the holidays were a week away. The same tech came and looked at it and said "the red light on the panel isn't on when it should be" and looked at other stuff and decided it was a $600 part that was the most likely cause - not the panel - and installed it. He got it to run and I thought it was fixed. Within 5 days the whole thing completely stopped working. I called for emergency help on a Saturday and was told they had no one available. So I called someone else. They tool a look, saw the same issue with the panel light, pulled the board off and found a big scorch mark. When I finally got a hold of someone at Drake I told them I wanted my money back from the repair they made. They said that because they couldn't come look at the furnace (before I had it replaced) that they couldn't verify anything. It worked for a few days after they left, so they were not responsible. If their tech saw the problem with the panel and then decided to replace something else, and it did end up being the panel, how is that not poor service???? They are supposed to be experts but can't put 2 and 2 together? Or admit when they did a bad job. Oh and I called to complain the day before my new system was supposed to be installed. 1- no one told me that I should have them come look at it to verify what I said 2 - they told me the owner would call me back but I had to wait two weeks and call them again. Her response: "Oh I guess you didn't get my message" right, like my cell phone doesn't have a call log showing me you never called."
"Jordan and his partner went above and beyond to get us up and going. I had already attempted to unclog my sewer to the city side and was not successful. Jordan spent roughly 5 hours over 2 days in order to make my home habitable again. Jordan really knew his stuff and was a pleasure to chat with during our time huddled around the clean out. I know it’s not cheap, but you’re paying for a professional service that I have experienced to be top notch."
