"I had to make the hardest decision of my life and let my sweet angel dog cross over the rainbow bridge a week ago. The doctor's delivery of the news after discovering organ tumors was even though heartbreaking, it was done in the most gentle way possible. She went over every option available and helped us make the right decision. All of the staff were so kind, genuine, and caring throughout the entire process. You can tell what they do is more than just a job to them. We were able to take all of the time we needed to say goodbye without any rush, and they made the room comfortable. Later on, we received a card with handwritten notes from the staff that we greatly appreciate and set next to our precious girl's memorial items. Thank you for being there during such a tremendous loss."
"This resort is amazing! They treat our pups like their own, and we are so grateful to have such a reliable place where we know our dogs will be loved while we’re traveling."
"All valley took care of my baby so well. After a freak accident that left my dog with a broken leg I rushed her over to the hospital after her normal vet turned her away. Dr Lake and his associates immediately treated my dog quickly and got her comfortable and her pain managed. She was rolling back to surgery to fix her leg within 2 hours of her accident. I had her back home later the same night. They all explained everything and have been super helpful in her recovery process. Forever grateful to this clinic."
"YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! We have a 1 lb, eight-week-old teacup pomeranian. She is a tiny, fragile, little Princess. I woke up Sat (1/13/24) morning to her being nonresponsive, not moving, and strained breathing. My husband and I rush her to the ER. 1) The Office staff was incredibly rude and seemed put out that we had come in. 2) The nurse took her and rushed her back to critical care. My husband was able to get the breeder on the phone and he tells my husband she is having a hypoglycemic episode. So we asked to speak to the nurse to let them know so she could get some dextrose right away. Again the front office was extremely rude and brushed us off. 3) No one came and talked to us for over 30 min to tell us what was going on and what they were doing. 4) The doctor was extraordinarily impersonal. Hardly even made eye contact with us. I guess I understand cause she's a vet, not really into humans. Also, given what #5 on my list is, I wouldn't make eye contact with us either. 5) This one is a biggie! While they were shaving my 1 lb teacup Pom to get the IV in, THEY SLICED OPEN HER LEG!!! And not just a little, they had to put FOUR SURGICAL STAPLES in to close the wound they put on my puppy. They didn't tell us this until the very end of our visit. So while my puppy was fighting for her life, they sliced her open. Now we have to heal from that and her hypoglycemic episode and whatever other tragic events happened that day. 6) After all that, they still charged me $100 for putting an IV in my dog."
"All Valley has been a lifesaver for pets in the past. Please be aware that not all vets there can provide the same level of expertise and critical care as their peers. This is our experience and WARNING: Veterinarian Sarah Waite was unable or unwilling to provide the same level of critical care common in complications of certain surgeries. The night veterinarian at Viking Vet our baby saw knew exactly what to do for him and stabilized our cat before she came into the picture. He was doing well, recovering from a chest hernia surgery he had a couple days prior. We were talked into leaving him there in oxygen chamber for a few hours longer so we did. He looked happy, content, breathing ok as to be expected recovering from his surgery. Hour later we went to pick up our kitty and transfer to West Vet for specialized care in case any different problems arise. At that time a different vet was there and acted like she didn’t know anything about checking his chest tube, or hernia surgery, or why his lung was left partial collapse for healing purposes, or why he was breathing heavy. She said she gave him another full dose pain med. Well, it was a drug that had warnings of major interactions with the pain meds he was already on. He wasn’t due for another pain med either. The interactions cause respiratory distress, coma, and death!! She just stood there frozen, not helping our cat but further stressing him and his breathing by putting an oxygen mask on his face that the wasn’t even on! the machine was off! Had him on his side instead of upright to breath easier, vet techs had a IV catheter only half inserted causing him so much pain. I believe she was trying to kill our boy, it was horrific, and she killed him because she didn’t know how to handle or understand, the critical care he needed. I said”we need to get him to West vet” it was apparent by then she didn’t know what to do and was torturing our cat to death. She told us he probably wouldn’t make it to West Vet but, we should have grabbed him right there and took our chances because she was doing nothing but what appeared to be purposely suffocating him and stressing him. Had he died on the way to West Vet it would have been much kinder death than what she was doing. She offered a botched euthanasia vs treating a common complications of surgery. I deep in my heart and soul know our sweet guy would be here today if it wasn’t for her killing him with ignorance, her pride, her lack of compassion and care for an animals life. Brutal incompetence. Unlike the adequate night vet, she did nothing but hurt our sweet cat. Look at her background, she was a food inspector. Her degree was chemical engineering. How does someone like this chose to START in emergency critical trauma care? She is listed as a vet at All Valley and fills in at Viking Vet in Nampa!!! Another 24HR emergency clinic. If you care about your pets life, and all she can do or offer is a torturous botched euthanasia for treatable cases, if you are looking for the best outcome for your pet, and you don’t feel comfortable with what she’s telling you, my advice is get them away from her ASAP. Don’t take your eyes off your pet, don’t let her inject them with anything, don’t let her start suffocating them, try to get you friend to a different vet. It’s too late for our Gus and we will never be the same. Gus didn’t deserve that incompetence and what she did to him. He wanted to live, he should still be here with us. Yes, it’s emotional and hard, especially when this never should have happened. All Valley, before you say this has nothing to do with your emergency clinic, you have this vet listed on your staff. It’s important"
