He never led me to believe I had a slam dunk case, he was upfront and honest with me. He worked with me through every issue I had and understood the tough issues we were up against. Going through the procedures I was a little reluctant as it seemed like he was doing things to add billable hours, but I don't understand the laws and how they work. Most people don't! "I wish I could give more stars. I first met Jeff almost 10 years ago when a friend referred me to his office. She was very happy with his service and I am so thankful she pointed me in the right direction. "He was great until I expected him to represent me with knowledge & integrity. This guy is an absolute disaster. 18 months and the only thing he did was put me deeper in a hole that his incompetence & dishonesty dug. He does a really, really, really, poor & embarrassing job. When I finally retained a competent attorney, there were 2 others that had gone to the same practice for actual representation that had been w/Jeff Sheehan previously & had left him due to the same abismal level of representation & retained the same new counsel as I. They also, spoke of his stalling tactics that served them not at all, multiple times, told me that all divorces in Idaho take a minimum of two years, to even get started. He also told them that the errors he made in filing documents weren't due to any error of his own, but that the Judge didn't have any clue what she was doing. HE ACTUALLY SAID THIS TO ME AS WELL. (What in the world????) She explained to him in open court, what the error was that he'd made & let him know that because he'd blown it, she encouraged him refile in the appropriate manner & would revisite her ruling at that time. Well, his ego wouldn't let him refile properly & I paid the price. I'd finally had enough of his failures & his lack of knowledge so I sent a message to his assistant. The message stated that I'd had enough of him doing less than nothing.... He "fired" me the moment he found out of my message. Then, he stole $29,000 from me, by putting a lien on my property. He told me that when id run my retainer down, hed send me an invoice. He never sent one! It made sense as hed done notiong. The opposing counsel had waited for months for responses and never received any. I'm filing a grievance with the Idaho State Bar, at their instruction. I've spoken with them a few times & they're shocked at the information I've shared with them. He is exactly what gives attorneys a horrible name. Disgusting."

"I hired Jeff after a mishap with another attorney and thank God I did.  My divorce was extremely litigious and contentious as my x- wife attempted to cut off all contact between my children and me. The case went on for two years and included a 3 day trial- which I lost.  But, Jeff never gave up on me and listened when I told him, "We need to be patient and the truth will come out." Sure enough 9 months later and after serious mistakes revealing my x- wife's true character - the judge reversed his previous decision and gave me full custody of my daughter.
