Opaline School is a historic educational institution located at West Cesar Chavez Lane in Boise, Idaho, United States. The schoolhouse was originally built in 1914 in Owyhee County and later moved and renovated by Boise State University in 1984. The schoolhouse is filled with authentic furniture and memorabilia from its past, including desks, papers from students, and the Greenhurst School Bell, also known as the "Excellence Bell". The Air National Guard played a role in the reconstruction and renovation of the schoolhouse, which was completed in December 1984. The dedication ceremony was held on March 7, 1985, and the schoolhouse now serves as a historic educational museum open to the public. Located near Albertsons Stadium and Broadway Avenue, Opaline School offers a unique glimpse into the educational history of Idaho.
