"Not sure where to start. The bus aide for bus 670 seems to have a general dislike for children. Every time they are running late she grabs my son and roughly yanks him to his seat. The driver will pull off before My son is strapped in. They are out here bussing autistic children and it's scary. It's not our kids fault if they're running late yet they seem to pay for it. I'm working with my son on using the handrail every time he gets on and off. He used it this morning but tripped and let go. I was right behind him to catch him and reminded him to use safe hands. Her response was to snatch him up by his jacket when he got up the steps. I'm telling you yall need to train these people better because they're going to catch me on the wrong day grabbing my child like that. The first bus tracker app never let me add my son. Same issue with this new app. I have been emailing and asking for help since Feb FIFTH! I am completely over this bus company."
"This morning on 1/16/24 I was driving on Adams Street in garden City and it happens everyday in finally posting about it but bus drivers that take up the whole road and let kids on the bus is not right and not safe you need to retrain your damn driver's or they will get reported to the police I really don't care. So the legal thing and get rid of or retain your driver's or consequences will happen. You can see in my picture the door is clearly open with the lights on too. But professional at all."
"Found out today by multiple kids the the bus monitor has been grabbing kids by the collar of there shirts. Not cool at all!!!! 2 bus monitor called me onto the bus to talk to me about my son acting up and insisted on yelling me. I asked hi. To not yell at me due to me being calm and then the bus driver freaked out calling me every cuss word under the sun telling just get the f of my bus fattso. I calmly did and he still insisted on cussing me out I'm So sick of this bus company they shouldn't be responsible for caring for or kids!! Maybe we should get the news involved to make it well known how horrible this company is!!"
"This morning was hectic for a lot of people due to a sub driver for bus 714. The bus was 20+ minutes late to my neighborhood and I wanted to know why. I called Durham dispatch and politely asked if there was an acceptable answer as to why bus 714 was 20 minutes late to my neighborhood. Pick up time was 0755 and it was now 0815. The app tracker showed the bus just now getting to my neighborhood but passed it. The voice on the other end said....bus 714 has a sub driver today. Well, sorry but this is not an acceptable answer. I asked again why it was 20+ minutes late....please hold. A few mins later, the voice said, she (driver) didn't tell us(dispatch) she was running late, sorry the the inconvenience. Wow, dispatch doesn't monitor drivers / bus locations, especially for a sub driver? Busses should have constant radio contact (driver to dispatch) from stop to stop like a taxi service. At 0847, an email was sent out letting the populace know that bus 417 was running 45 minutes late, 45 minutes!! Did she even pick up any kids? Bus 714 picks up children in my community that are enrolled in GATE and drops them at White pine so they can transfer buses to Hawthorn. I wonder how many kids were late to school today."
"This is specifically in reference to bus 670. I have the app tracker, which showed the bus not even arriving to my children’s until nearly 15 minutes AFTER school was out. Then, the bus driver tried to tell me that the reason they were late was because of my son. But, again, I have the app, which showed the bus was late to the school. It’s completely unacceptable that he would not only accept responsibility for his actions but (more importantly) it’s reprehensible that he would place all the blame on a child."
