Cedarbrooke Apartments

"I lived a Cedarbrooke for 4 years. I paid my rent on time every month. They changed management multiple times. times.The foundation was faulty so my apartment flooded and all they did was wet vacuum the carpet without shampooing it. There was mold and mildew on the walls. I had issues with mice and all they did was give me glue traps which was useless. When my neighbor moved out, their roaches moved in. I put in multiple work orders. The dishwasher never worked. I washed dishes by hand. They told me multiple times they would replace the tile in the bathroom and fix the toilet. Never happened. Now they are threatening me with garnishments to pay 700 dollars for certain tepairs they should have done before I moved in. Laundry facilities Harry worked.Flooded laundry room. Different management every few months. Work orders not done. I have photos and videos of the flooded carpet and I had renters insurance damaged clothing and shoes."

"Everything about this place just doesn’t sit right with me, you put in requests and they blow it off as usual (including emergency requests), the exterior is always dirty, the interiors aren’t taken care of and recently were painted and still looks dreary. The parking lots are always full with little to no room. When it snows or when there’s ice, nothing is plowed/salted. Generally uncomfortable experience"

"UPDATED: Office is bunch of lying POSs. honestly terrible management. they towed my car 4 days earlier than the written warning said, seriously i would not recommend living here. also downstairs neighbor smokes cigarettes indoors in the hallways, puts it out on the wall and floor and nothing happens about it. New: ceiling is falling in. been waiting for 2 months for it to be fixed and heard absolutely nothing from the office. 2 inch gap between the wall and the sliding glass door they refused to fix so it blows cold air in all day. no closet doors, floor that’s sunken in and feels as if it is about to give out. earlier lease agents didn’t move my last months rent into the deposit account so i spent this whole time thinking we didn’t have to pay last mo the rent. honestly probably 15/20 complaints to security about playing loud music after 11pm from downstairs neighbors and absolutely nothing happens from it. i seriously need to file a complaint with corporate about numerous things because i shouldn’t have to worry about my CEILING FALLING DOWN ON ME in my home."

"Kim the manager didn't seem to care to get nothing fixed. Can't see apartment until they give you keys after signing lease. I did a buy out of lease to get away from there. Lusia Serrano was the only one that seem to want to help to keep me there. She should be manager, because she wants residents to be happy in their home"
