"Governeour Manor has been a great place to live. Our two-bedroom apartment is a good size for us, we had new carpet when we moved in, and nothing looks very old or outdated. What you get for the price really can’t be beat. The staff are all super friendly and very easy to work with, and the office is stocked with cookies and dog treats. :) We feel very safe here too because you need a key to get into your building, and there are lots of security cameras around. The pool area and grounds are well kept and you can tell they take pride in them. Overall, we’re very happy we moved here!"

"My fiancé and I were going to rent an apartment from Governeour Manor. My fiancé was financially incapable to do so, so I was going to take it instead. ***Tl;dr- Management will harass you for information, lie to your face, skip right over the fine print on your application while walking you through it and take your money. Don't get me wrong, the apartments are nice, but I will never deal with the management of Governeour Manor, or Builder's, Inc., EVER again. I wrote a check for half of the deposit ($150) to hold our spot in line, which we were told wouldn't be cashed until the move in date. What we weren't told during the application process was that if the deal fell through, you're not getting your money back and "agree" to forfeit your deposit. I already knew the application fee was non-refundable. Erika is their personal pit bull, harassing my fiancé with several phone calls a day on her personal phone number as well as her employer. I called the manager and told her about this, and then Erika directed those calls toward me when everything had already been finalized. She called me yesterday asking if I wanted to void the check or come in to pick it up, but she called about 30 minutes before they closed while I was out of town and unable to call back. She called again today to tell me they were going to cash it, so I asked to speak to the manager. She told me that "she's out of the office for surgery" so I decided to go up there. She lied about that, because the manager was in the office with her, and she also lied about the voicemail she left yesterday saying that she called me today to "retract her statement from yesterday.""

"I love this place.... maintenance repairs are fast... doors remained locked so not anyone can come into buildings... hallways are kept clean... parking lots are clean and also have cameras! Besides the neighborhood around it this place is wonderful to live at!"

"Terrible place to live. You have to wait for weeks if not months for maintenance to fix something, I’ve had staff members threaten to call police on me for not having a bracelet on for the pool. Neighbors are loud and disrespectful. THEY HAVE A TENDANCY TO NOT ALLOW BLACKS TO RENEW THEIR LEASE FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Bad spider problem, apartments are extremely small. All in all it’s not worth it. Take your money elsewhere"
