"Great place to live. The location is great & the units are very well maintained. I've never had to wait more than a day for a maintenance request to be fulfilled. Cons - Apartments aren't noise canceling, but so are just about any other apartments in town. Your noise level and peace is at the mercy of your neighbors. TV's, bathroom flushes, and foot steps are easily heard. My rent was hiked a total of 20% between June of 2020 and October of 2022 (two lease renewals). Overall, I would recommend Portofino as a home as long as the noise isn't a deal breaker for you. The pros outweigh the cons."

"This is a good, clean, well-run property. Units are a good value. Right off the highways and an access point to the Greater Wichita Trail network (k96 bike trail terminus is literally at this complex, which gives access to everything between August and Garden Plain, from South City to the Zoo!). As a cyclist, this place is a dream come true. Maintenance requests are super easy via the resident app and they are responded to very quickly - usually same day. The maintenance team is really friendly and non-invasive too, they are efficient and mission-focused. Office staff is so kind and professional, it's refreshing to have such a great management team. They have a security company that is responsive as well which is nice for peace of mind. The gates actually stay closed most of the time (so many apartments have a non functional access gate). I feel safe here. The pool and community area is very nice and kept super clean as well - and it's a saltwater pool. The paths through the complex are actually pleasant, easy to get in a short walk to clear the mind if needed. The gym is nice too, with all the equipment youll ever need. I haven't used the community office or lounge much, but they seem to offer free Keurig coffee and computer access. I'm glad we found Portofino. It's a rare gem in Wichita."

"Overall apartment is good. Management is really nice and responsive. Units inside are pretty new and well done. However, the unit that I had wasn’t great. I had constant problems with ants over spring-summer-fall, the roof was leaking in the winter and apartment was poorly insulated and I had to pay a lot to cool it or hear it up. Also, I was really missing covered parking and assigned parking especially considering the apartment price."

"My garage door wasn’t working and maintenance came out quickly the same day to make repairs. They needed someone else as it was a more difficult issue but they made sure I was happy with the plan. They were able to make sure it was safe and secure which put me at ease. They came back the next day and were able to finish the repairs :) also extremely nice and professional men. I was working from home that day and they were courteous and made sure I was able to do a quick meeting without interruptions. Wonderful experience!!"

"Absolutely one of the best apartments I've ever lived in. The staff here has been nothing but exquisite in the near 2 years I've been here. The buildings themselves are fairly new. I've had little issue with maintenance and when I do it is fixed promptly and professionally."
