"I moved here on January 2023 and moved around December 2023 in this time we spoke to 7 different managers. The first months up to June everything was okay not the best but okay. The apartment always smelled like cigarettes or weed. When we moved in, there were lots of problems with the apartment, once we moved out they said we had to pay for these problems. There was also suspicious activity every night with the neighbor next door, doing illegal things for a few months to the point where I didn’t feel safe anymore but we couldn’t tell the manager at the time because she would go visit them after office hours and act suspicious. I felt as if they were hiding because they slept all day and would be up all night. Until a few months later a SWAT team went looking for these neighbors and I was shocked. Kids and teenagers would sell things too, or come knock on doors asking to buy tickets from them. There were also roaches big ones that could run. For the summer on July there was also no AC for a few days the apartment was at 100 degrees and they never answered the calls they made sure to ignore them and we had a baby. The neighbors had to move out too because they said they couldn’t fix it for a year. What I’m trying to say is DO NOT MOVE HERE! The rent is super cheap but TRUST ME it is not worth a penny. This place is the most dangerous and ghetto I’ve ever been to. I’ve been to Brooklyn and Queens New York but didn’t feel as unsafe as I did at Chalet apartments. Also they’re super unprofessional if you have maintenance requests they take forever but if you’re one day past due on rent they make sure to put a nice letter on your door by 7am. If you have children this is not a good environment. Also ignore the “good reviews” trust me the office is probably paying people to say good things about this horrendous place. This complex needs to be demolished and made into something that’s decent."

"The worst apartments you can ever want to live into, in the whole Wichita area. They told me that I need to wait for two weeks, one day prior to the move in date they had initially suggested. Got zero help on how to proceed since I had prepared to move in that date, and they refused to refund my deposit after putting me through all these shenanigans. I would advise anyone to avoid these apartments, unless you are looking for the ultimate disappointment!"

"Ya, I have went from feeling like I'm in heaven, to feeling fearful of not being treated with respect throughout the duration of my lease here. Our dear sweet office manager, Marylynn left. She is now at another property. I moved in last year on June 4th. If there was a maintenance issue, it was fixed the next day. There was no backed up maintenance issues, point blank period. We enjoyed top tier status here. Today, October 20th I was talked to extremely rude, by our office manager. I am trained to listen. That is my gift from God. I explained to the lady in the office what she told me, on the phone when I called her to have a few corners filled. I felt they were the opening in the corners for mice. I saw some things in my kitchen destroyed by mice and I don't want to got through it this winter. I work out of town a lot, and I never had roaches in my apartment; nor bed bugs. I read in the posts the problems people have with roaches so I don't want people going inside other people's house, then walking in mine. I didnt talk rude nor did I raise my voice. I pointed out to her the prior manager was my friend, meaning I'm a friendly person. On her behalf she did say she was in a rush, and she didnt have time. I do understand. What I don't understand is when someone tries to turn my art of communication into an argument. Nevertheless less: they are coming in my house, after going in other people's house on Monday. All I can do is pray they don't bring bugs inside my apartment. I do enjoy living here. I hope in the future I will be talked to nicely, and I will do the same."

"I have lived here for a year now and since management change, things have gotten increasingly better! Our maintenance issues are dealt with immediately and fixed properly. Marlene is very professional and friendly. She cares about her tenants needs and concerns. My daughter has been able to make friends with other kids in the complex and everyone seems to get along. Me and my fiancé haven’t had any safety concerns since new management has taken over. It’s a quiet complex. Great for singles or couples just starting out."
