"tl;dr ABC has completely transformed our house into a home, they are upmost professionals focused on quality results, have the customer's best interest in mind and are great people. Would hire them again on any future job, big or small. Project Summary: Demo of an old garage and build out of a two story Auxiliary Dwelling Unit (ADU) as well as additional backyard landscaping and whole house painting. The project ran from Feb to August 2023. We live in a historic home in Boise, so there were numerous administrative hurdles to work through that ABC assisted us greatly with these burdensome tasks that we wouldn't have understood as homeowners. Project Team: ABC brings forward a set of high quality professionals with unique traits and abilities that make them great in their role. Mark, Wally IV, (Big) Wally, Amber and the House Define team all were incredibly professional and great at their jobs. Project Process: We partnered with ABC after we had independently gotten our plans drafted by an architect. From the very start they were extremely responsive to inquiries for a bid and put together a project plan and bid quicker and in higher quality than their competitors. They gave us honest feedback on the architect's plans and helped us make improvements that likely saved us time and money in the field while maintaining the overall functionality and quality that we were desiring. Overall we were extremely pleased with the way ABC operated their project. They used subs that did quality work, they communicated clearly with us and they owned the (very few) mistakes that are a natural part of a large construction job. They took care of the vast majority of problems without burdening us as owners with too much information and pulled us in at the right time for major decisions or changes that were required as work progressed. We are unbelievably pleased with how our house became transformed into a home and the quality of work that ABC did on our home over these past few months.
