"The staff was very, very nice. The hotel is new and clean, has an Ikea feel to it, which is cool with me. What wasn't so cool is Ikea quality mattress protector and cheap bed sheets. The protector is slippery, and the fitted sheet kept coming off the matress. I stayed 2 nights and both mornings I woke up to a mess from the sheets under me, which caused me trying to fix them while still groggy from sleep instead of enjoying last moments of rest and a neat bed. Also, the black out blind doesn't cover the window completely, and the light gets in waking up someone who is sensitive to it, like myself. Finally, soap and lotion dispensers by the sink tend to leak after each use, so I had a puddle on the counter, which I kept wiping off. The concept is cute but comfort level should be improved as it is very important to many people while traveling."

"The staff were nice. The room is.... crusty... the floor is totally messed up in my room all warped and peeling up its annoying to say the least it feels dirty and sticky. My allergies are insane idk if theres mold in my room or what but my eyes are watery and ive used my inhaler sooo many times!! For the price I was just expecting cleaner/ nicer room. The lobby is cute tho"

"The front desk attendant got me fresh hot water for my tea when I checked in. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice, very hot shower with strong water pressure on the first floor. I was logged off wifi every time I put my phone down but worked well when I was connected. No fresh fruit at breakfast but it was available ahead of the schedule and coffee was good. I don’t recommend a room near the security door at the end of the hallway because it is loud when it slams shut."

"We love staying at Tru by Hilton when we travel and this was no exception. We went up to visit my daughter in college and this was our first time staying at this one. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful and we always love the murals in the lobby of each one that gives a little story of the area. My daughter and her roommates came over and we played pool and games in the recreational area and really enjoyed it. We also love the automatic pancake machine at breakfast. Thank you Janet for the area recommendations...we loved Keeper of the Plains!"
