"Got to the hotel and had problems right away and paid for a queen bed in the upper building. Gave us a room in the lower building with 2 twin beds. Not even within 10 minutes of unloading our stuff, across the hall there was screaming and stuff being thrown. I went to sit at the desk and there was gel stuck to the lamp and desk. Also finger nail or toe nail clippings on the desk. It was absolutely disgusting. The towels looked like they had been used. The toilet had black stuff on it. The tub had hair everywhere and no shower curtain. Also found out their hotel is well known for bed bugs. Many visits from the hospital for bed bugs. Any time I went to the desk I had to ring the bell multiple times and call at least twice. Nobody was ever there. I was also told the pool and hot tub would be done around thanksgiving but according to someone I know that stays there a lot it’s been broken for months and they aren’t working on it. I called the manager to get a new room. He told me by the time I got back to the hotel I would be able to pick up my new key. I get back and go to the desk and call and he comes to the desk. I proceed to tell him I was there for my key and he was confused and didn’t know anything about it. Also proceeded to try and charge me for a new room and for both dogs when I was told it was free for both. He tried to fix the problem by giving me a shower curtain and saying they would clean my room when they got a chance. Also didn’t have any clean towels to give me. I went out and had a conversation with my parents because they know the manager. My dad called down and he met us down at the hotel with the guy at the desk and the manager. They looked at our room and We packed our stuff and he went room to room looking for one that we could stay in. The first one he knocked on they were supposed to be out by 11 that day and they don’t pay attention to when you check out because they are never at the desk. But he yelled to see if anyone was in the room and he said “well she’s either passed out or dead”. The next room we tried was hard wood and had puke ALL over the floor from the entry way clear to the wall. Also dog hair all over the “clean bed spreads”. After that they realized there’s no other rooms open. They went up the stairs and tried to put us in a unit that had been shut down for winter because there was no heat. We grabbed our stuff and told them how disgusting it was. Definitely don’t recommend and will never stay there again. They need to be shut down. It is absolutely pathetic. I have multiple family members that stay there in town when they visit and needless to say they won’t be staying there anymore either because of this. If there was 0 stars they would be at the top of the list for it. We left and we went to the economy inn and had zero problems."
"I wish I could give a negative score. DHHS of Nebraska should shut this place down. Please please please do not stay here!!!!! Your car would be a better option. They also will fight tooth and nail to refund your money after you have not accepted the conditions of your room. I wouldn't let me dog stay here, let aloe my family. So sad this hotel has gone so downhill."
"I wish I could give zero stars. The manager is extremely rude. We have stayed here six times, and each visit was worse than the last. We requested first floor as my wife and I have mobility issues. We were relegated to the rear building, by the railroad tracks. On the 2nd floor. The room was dirty, with a wet bathroom floor, gunk in the fridge and microwave, and stains on the bedding and in the tub. The lock was damaged and the wifi would not connect (which, when I brought it to the manager's attention, the maintenance guy said "my phone connects..."). The smoke alarm was missing with bare wires exposed on the ceiling. The water never got hot and kept fluctuating between lukewarm and cold constantly. The last straw was at breakfast the next morning. The manager came out and berated us in front of other guests, saying we only registered two guests and four of us were eating breakfast. He kept yelling and complaining how much the breakfast cost. I tried to tell him it had to be a mistake. He then dramatically begged us to never stay at his hotel again, while other guests watched. Trust me, we won't. After leaving as fast as possible, I double-checked the reservation online. We HAD registered as four people. He was not only rude, but wrong. Avoid this place unless you enjoy abuse, filth, and discomfort."
"If I could get this hotel zero stars I would it was the worst stay I’ve ever had I went down there for a funeral end it probably would’ve been warmer sleeping in my cold truck which it was in November so it was cold but my room was cold to there was no heat there was no hot water I was like sleeping in a refrigerator and when I brought it to their attention the next day because I got sick after my stay there they said that they were going to refund my stay instead they charged me they waited a few months and they charge me I do not recommend this place and I am posting it everywhere because it’s disappointing"
