"Our local Non-profit Figure Skating Club rentend the NW Passage for our competition to house our officials. First they advertise the property as 10 bedrooms, but when you rent it you realize that you have to pay extra for the other 2 bedrooms. So firstly, false advertisement, so be very careful before booking. Secondly, I would not book a property that gives leeway for any cancellation. Meaning, we gave them 45 day notice that our venue cancelled our event and they would not refund our $1500 deposit nor move it to use for next year. They would only give us about $500 towards a new booking. They have no qualm over taking money from local kids, so be sure you don't have any emergency and need to cancel."
