"I’d love to have stayed here. Unfortunately, the directions provided were vastly insufficient. The directions reference a “Silver Fox Road” but as far as I can tell there is only a “Silver Fox Trail”. It also references a “End of County Road” which, after driving around the area for an hour, we could not find. Google certainly could not. Even after backtracking to the beginning and using strava to map the mileage exactly per the directions - well, that was incorrect, as we’d have turned right straight off a cliff into a forest at one point. The host did not respond to calls, and ultimately we canceled. They were clearly not actually at the property. We still have not heard from the host. Massive disappointment - we drove all the way from Stanley to get here, only to have our trip marred by this flagrantly lousy and frustrating experience. I do not advise staying here, or trying to."

"Found this Yurt on Airbnb and was very excited to spend the last night of my vacation having a unique experience. It looks beautiful! Booked via Airbnb on Sep 21 to arrive Sep 22. The reservation was accepted and confirmed. Woke up early on Sep 22 and drove 4 hours to arrive in the area. Meticulously followed the host’s directions since Google Maps do not work in the area. However, after 30min of getting lost contacted Jeff and Deirdre by phone and message but no response. After over an hour of this, contacted Airbnb to help and Jeff was still not responsive. Ultimately, had to find alternative accommodations since Jeff’s phone went from ringing out then straight to voicemail. Not only was my time wasted, I spent 7 hours of my day trying to get here to end up at another place that I wish I hadn’t. This was a terrible experience for me and my partner. I’m still upset and disappointed the next day now that we’ve ended up in a region of Idaho that we had only driven to to stay at the Yurt. If Jeff and Deirdre had the courtesy to send us a message that they were unable to host then we would have not driven hours out of our way to get here. I do not recommend spending your time, money or vacation time on staying here to have the host flake on you. As of the following day, I have received nothing from Jeff or Deirdre. Note, they are still listed as Super Hosts on Airbnb with a 100% response rate which is false."

"What a fantastic surprise! Wanted a unique outdoor experience and the Silver Fox Yurt delivered! It is simple, rustic, and very relaxing. Not for everyone, but definitely what I was looking for. I'll be back for sure."

"Had an amazing time up in the mountains! Silver Fox yurt was so cozy and well stocked. We only had a little bit of snow up around the yurt and on the road. It was easily accessible with our 4runner. Already looking on planning a Summer trip. I highly recommend this stay. Thank you guys! :)"
