"Not a great experience so far. Got the impression I was wasting the staff and Dr’s time. I just stopped by to give an office full of people who couldn’t care less my time and money for no reason. Left feeling worse than when I got there. I still have the same issue I started with and no hint at answers. The Dr’s only real insight during the appointment was it’s PROBABLY not cancer. When I asked if we could do blood work, the Dr said they would need a reason to order bloodwork. I assumed that “probably not cancer” would justify a blood panel. Haven’t heard a word from anyone since. Not all negative, I gave a bonus star for credit due for prompt and efficient invoicing."
"I would avoid going here if you have any kind of complex health history....although they also struggled to handle cold lasting 2 weeks too so... I had a new medical condition pop up out of the blue and was concerned. Brought to my new primary doc (a PA at PFM) who initially did blood work and thought she had an idea of what was wrong. When the blood work came back normal I made an appointment to come in to talk about next steps. I happened to have a cold which apparently was all she was willing to deal with. She refused to do any additional testing or to explain to me why she was unconcerned about the new medical condition. She had not checked my chart/history- and the only reason she could give for what she thought was wrong was my BMI and the new condition. Not only was this negligent, but dangerous. There were a number of normal things that could have caused it (a recent change in birth control, for example), but telling someone they must be pre diabetic (what she thought was causing the condition- blood work was normal/not indicative of this) because they are overweight is a little much. In addition, despite having been sick with a cold for 13 days she told me that secondary infections from viruses can't develop for 5 weeks and also told me to use phenylephrine because it is a "strong decongestant" despite recent FDA findings that say it does nothing. Went to urgent care next day and was given antibiotics. On both fronts this was negligent healthcare. I get people have off days, but I have never had such an awful experience as I did that day. PA was condescending when I questioned her decision--patients should be active in their healthcare, part of your job is to explain things. I hope Pullman Regional Hospital takes a good look at who works at these places now that they are one entity and considers who is representing the community."
"Spencer at the front desk definitely deserves a raise! He’s one of the best front desk people I’ve ever met! He’s always joking around with me and he’s always really nice to me. It’s always nice to see him. Also, doctor Baker is most likely the best doctor there. I have A LOT of trust issues when it comes to doctors, but she breaks everything down, explains everything."
"Spencer is the best front desk help there! He is kind and has been very helpful every time I've picked up the phone. I would recommend a raise due to the attitude and fast pace responsiveness of him alone! Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for affordable and intelligent doctors as well."
"Time has come for me to share why you should never seek care here. I am a veteran who receives community care due to living farther than 50 miles from a VA facility. The VA originally assigned my care here because it was the closest provider under contract to my address. This was in August of 2022. I called multiple times over the next few months to set up my first visit, but they claimed to never have my referral until late January of 2023. They said that they could not see me for two months because that was there soonest appointment slot. I told them that that was unacceptable and I needed to be seen no later then mid February. Well they found me an appointment so I went in with my long list of needs seeing as I hadn’t been seen in over 7 months. When I asked for new referrals to continue treatment I had been receiving from the VA prior to moving, the doctor said “no, I don’t believe in them so you can go waste your own money” I was flabbergasted to say the least. I relayed this info to the VA and the process to assign me to a new care team began. Well at the end of February I was in a bad car accident and needed an ER follow up which was recommended to be only a few days after my ER visit. They didn’t want to see me for almost 2 months later. I told them that was absurd and medically negligent. They then made a “special” appointment for me later that week. I had also scheduled a appointment with the PA to hopefully get my referrals but had to wait until early April for that appointment. I was called 1 business day before the appointment and told that they needed to reschedule and that the next available appointment was until mid June. If you cannot see your current patient load in reasonable amounts of time why are you still excepting new patients? I also assume the mass exodus of practitioners from this place is due to management."
