"Professional, clean, prompt! They were able to fit me in at 34 weeks pregnant without making me feel like a burden. Kept appointments consistent and information confidential! Generally no wait time. The staff all has been kind and helpful! When I asked about labor classes one of the providers hand wrote a list of people local to my area (I live an hour away) and made sure I got the info before leaving the appointment! I have been more than happy with the care here! Dr. Mccrummen takes the time to answer all of my questions at each visit without making me feel rushed."

"I just recently saw Katie Van Cleave and my experience was horrible with her. She seemed very judgy and her facial expressions told it all. I've been going to kootenai OB for over 10 years and Rhonda and Dr Julie Meltzer are both absolutely amazing. The front staff has been both amazing and then not so amazing at times. Meltzer no longer works there and she delivered both of my babies and now I don't know where to turn with this new pregnancy. Looks like I'll have to try someone else or go somewhere else and I'm stressed enough with a really shocking pregnancy."

"I've worked with the Midwives for all my pregnancies and they have all done a great job with one exception, Ashton. The front desk staff sometimes is not very helpful, with the exception of Connie. She really helped me out with some scheduling issues. However, the long wait times and no children in the appointment rules have been a big problem for me. My biggest issue though has been with the new Midwife, Ashton. She never called me after my miscarriage to follow up and check on me like she said she would. She also didn't keep our phone appointment for this pregnancy check up. The reason given was she must have gotten busy. I don't feel comfortable with her level of care and had her removed from my care team schedule. The other Midwives are wonderful, like I stated before. I feel like a patients time is just as important as theirs."

"Words cannot express how happy I am with Kootenai Clinic! All of the staff have been incredibly supportive over the last several months as we prepared for our first baby. Last year, we had a miscarriage & I was incredibly unhappy with how a different OBGYN handled things. When we came to Kootenai Clinic, each & every nurse & doctor were incredibly kind, sensitive & very aware that I had experienced this tough loss. We were able to meet with each midwife on staff to make sure we knew each one before delivery - all of them are so sweet & truly care about you. When my water broke, I called in & was quickly transferred to Faith, who was on call that morning. She was quick to ease my fears (even at 1am in the morning!). She told me we would need to be in the hospital by 12pm to prevent infection, but she called around 930am to check in with me - & because things weren't moving along, she told us to go ahead & come in early. Both Faith & Ashley were both there & walked me through every little detail of how the birth would work, they were there by my side throughout the entire process & I felt incredibly safe. They stood by my decision to not have an epidural. They were consistently telling me that I could do it - & I did! The hospital staff that assisted were INCREDIBLY helpful. Not only did we feel taken care of, we felt pampered! Truly the best experience - better than I ever could have hoped for when it came to our first baby & the crazy experience that comes with that.
