"There are amazing people and volunteers doing amazing things. if your are having issues involving domestic violence. They know its a growing concern in our community and it's not just for women. Please don't let fear or embarrassment get in the way. I know what it's like to have your world fall apart, and the people here helped me and my family get through it. Call and make an appointment today."

"My ex wife went to this place not once but twice and in both cases told them a one sided and dishonest story and in both cases assisted her in filing a civil protection order against me based on domestic abuse that never happened. Our son was 3 the first time, he is 10 now. In the second case I also reached out to them by phone and they told me they couldn't help me. When I went in to talk to them in person I asked for help to make the situation calm and mature and that I was on the same team as them. They looked so sympathetic as I cried in their lobby but again said they couldn't help me because they had helped her already. I asked if there was a place a father could go to help his family out. My son deserves adults as parents. I left that place truly upset but was respectful. I thanked them and walked out calmly. I sat in my car for awhile and cried and then 2 two days later was contacted by police and told I had been trespassed from their address. I was baffled. The day after that I met with my probation officer who told me that because I sat in my car for 20 or 30 minutes before leaving, that they were "concerned"....what kind of place is this? Why does it even say family advocacy in their title? I may have made mistakes in our relationship but she did too. This being one of them. Why are these people not seeking peaceful resolution and family unity? I was the only one doing that and in the end had to go to court only to have my son taken away from me again. Last time 3 years without his dad, and a year they gave her this time. Absolutely terrible place and I have zero respect for the system here including the judge that resided over the case. The focus should be different and I'm not sure they have any clue what they are doing! You should be ashamed of yourselves. You have no clue of the hurt you cause and you shouldn't just believe what these women walk in there and say with out doing some homework first."
