"Nothing but terrible experience, with quality ,shipping, and customer service. I dont even know who to reach our for help because they are ignoring my complaints through phone, emails and even Better Business Bureau. On June 22, 2022 I ordered a dinning table set through Pottery Barn. Expensive set. The only reason why we finally decided to buy it was because it went on sale. On top of the supper expensive dinning set they charged for shipping around 700 dollars. It all came out around 5,000! Bench came first in August. In Septemeber we got the Table. We inquired about the five chairs and they said it will come on November 13. It was supposed to work out perfectly for the Holidays that were coming up and I expected to host parties. Unfortunately the chairs never came. They kept on pushing the delivery to December then January. In January after I have called numerous of times, they finally scheduled the delivery. To our great astonishment only two chairs came. They promised to bring the rest three chairs next month. Again I had to take hours off work to make dozen of calls inquiring about those three chairs. Those chairs were then on sale. They finally agreed to give me a refund of only 200 with a promise to deliver the chairs that month. Two months passed no chairs. I'm asking for a bigger refund. They keep on refusing my inquiry. When I called again a couple of weeks ago the lady told me our chairs are ready I just had to wait for the call from the delivery office. (Same thing I heard dozen of other times.) So I asked to be transfered to Rider Last Mile. (The delivery company. Since the chairs were ready might as well call them myself and schedule. Why wait for the phone call?) When I was transferred a nice lady told me that three months ago they had the chairs and were ready to deliver but Pottery Barn had requested the chairs to be sent back to the wearhouse! I was so upset to hear that! Why was Pottery barn costumer service lying to me all these months promising to deliver when they knew there was no way those chairs would be delivered by that time frame? They promised me I will have my chairs by June 8, 2023. Almost a year from the date I first ordered them. I'm in shock. I know this is a lie and no one wants to help me out with this ridiculous situation."
"We had a return from an online order and they were very helpful and were able to get another one out to us right away. Always a pleasure to work with the staff in Spokane. Thank you for an easy fix."
"Don’t shop here if you’re making a big purchase. I bought a breville and it went on sale the next day ($220 discount) but they wouldn’t return it or do a price adjustment. Any other store will do that so I’ve learned to make those purchases elsewhere."
"I have been a devoted fan of William Sonoma for 20+ years. They have been a go-to for classic gift purchases for weddings, showers, and birthdays. Sadly, I will no longer be gifting from WS. In October I purchased a Le Creuset braiser for my son and DIL from the WS store in Roseville, CA. Because they did not have the color I needed, I placed an order for the braiser to be mailed to their home. I was assured by the salesperson that there would be no problem if they needed to exchange the braiser for a different item. The braiser arrived just before Thanksgiving and my son and DIL decided that they wanted to exchange for a different size. They took the braiser into the same store where I ordered and were told that they couldn’t exchange but would be issued an e-gift card and could return to the store for the item they wanted to purchase. It is now December 4th and they have not received the e-gift card. I have made 4 phone calls to customer service and this problem has not been resolved. As much as it pains me to say it, NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE WILLIAM SONOMA FOR GIFTING."
"I stopped in to check out an item in person but they didn’t have the color I wanted in stock. Avery was super helpful in getting that ordered for me. All the employees at this location are always pleasant and super helpful!"
