Reviews
"Best prices and great selection. They have always treated me well."
"Something has to be going on with this place. Last week I came in about 430 and I was stoped at the sideway by a worker saying that they are closing to come back. Today I came in and the sign on the door said they were closing at 3. But the lady at the counter said that that's an old sign. Not even 2 minutes later that same lady is yelling on the speaker that they are closed.. the store closes now.and something about not getting paid enough.. This is really sad."
"We love this place! There is a lot of inventory, so you do have to take some time to dig through. But the prices are super reasonable, the staff is exceptionally friendly & warm, and we always leave with a great deal. I've seen reviews that say it smells like smoke or 'funky' but I have had the opposite experience and find they take care to keep ot as clean and orderly as is possible. There is a lot of older stuff, but definitely some amazing gems! I recommend."
"To preface this review, this was my first time shopping here, so I have no clue on the inventory turnover. This place has a huge variety of things and stuff, from a mechanical knitting machine to ipod docking stations, furniture and clothes. The staff seemed very busy, the place could use a bit of updating with some fresh paint. Many items I found to be over priced, a 2x10x15 showed $40, brand new is only $35. I get that they are trying to do good for vets, but holding onto inventory doesn't help. Pricing your stock to move is going to help 1. Create the revenue to help your business do the good that it wants. 2. Change up your inventory so customers will keep coming back to see what's new."
"The Veteran's Thrift Store- Havana is a treat to treasure hunt in. The staff are helpful and beyond knowledgeable. Izzie is the boss lady of the store with a kind heart and spiritual vibe. Angela works everwhere and will help in the time of need. Link is a genius renovator. The store is going through a makeover and pricing purses and other goods for a steal. Actually, they can't control what happens after you buy their goods. So buy a stun gun. They may have it in stock. But they make sales affordable. I believe they give to Vets in need. That's good news because everyone else is dropping the ball. The front area has a vintage style impressive with shiny things in glass cases. You'll never know what you will find there so be open minded an leave plenty of room at home."
