"Great park in Meridian. Everything feom a dog park, baseball, swimming pool (in season), and nice tot lot too. Stop by the Meridian Chamber of commerce while the kids play. Easy access off I84 if you just want a nice strech break too. Lots of nearby restaurants to grab food to go and enjoy it outside. Unlike Portland, Seattle and parts of California, there are NO homeless tents to worry about. ;)"
"My extended family held a celebration of life gathering here. A picnic shelter was rented for a nominal fee. There was adequate shade, drinking fountains and indoor restrooms, as well as horseshoe pits, a baseball diamond, and dog park. This is a very well-maintained and bucolic setting that I highly recommend for your next outdoor gathering."

"While passing by Boise on the way to Washington, pick up some food from the many restaurants on the boulevard and have a nice picnic at Storey Park. Let the kids run around to get their wiggles out before filling up with gas and hitting the road again. In August, the 86 degree weather made this a perfect place to stop and play!"
