Staybridge Suites Coeur D'Alene, an IHG Hotel

"Clean, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean pool, and it was in an easy to find location. We always choose Staybridge if there is one where we are traveling. The rooms are so spacious and offer so much! Our only complain was being woken by the lids next door at 2 in the morning, but it was NYE and it's not the hotel's fault."

"This is the worst Staybridge. You cannot control the temp in your room. One shower and the room is stuck at 75 degrees regardless of the setting. The desk tells me that management has been taken over by a Californian so they call it energy efficient (reality is, of course, the opposite). The pool was freezing cold so you can't actually swim. But hey it's energy efficient to have a pool and not heat it in the winter. Only paper plates at the social. Other staybridges offer a meal with the social hour, but this one just had some chicken fingers. The room temp made even a night stay intolerable. The staff is nice even though they left the desk unattended for several hours (not answering the phone either). The soaps were not filled in the room and food was left in the microwave, so I can't say housekeeping is good. Rooms are updated, free laundry, nice gym."

"This was a very nice hotel. The front desk was very friendly upon check in. The rooms are clean and roomy. The beds were very comfortable. The hot water does take a while to heat up and the parking is not the best, but those were small issues considering how nice the stay was."

"What an amazing hotel to stay at! Everything was exceptional from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Check in was a breeze and we requested a crib for our toddler daughter, which was brought up to our room very quickly. Once we got into our room we were shocked to see a full-size fridge, dishwasher, stove and all the kitchen essentials! They served happy hour from 530-7 with free wine on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Location is in a good quiet area and a quick drive away from the boardwalk. There are a few restaurants, movie theater and fast food within walking distance (less than 5 min walk).Our favorite part was how comfortable the beds were. We slept about 6 hours and it honestly felt like 12 hours because the beds were that amazing. The breakfast buffet was by far one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. Everything was exceptional and kid friendly. If we weren’t on a time crunch for our road trip we would have extended our stay because of the comfort level and service. We will definitely return when we are in the area again."
