"I used Emser for a stacked stone fireplace project and they single-handedly turned a 2 day job into a month long job. It took them 7 tries to ship the stone without breaking it. One of the shipments was full of a completely different product. Additionally, the product they successfully shipped had cracks in literally every single section of stone. But, they were glued from the back which means they came from the manufacturer like that. After the installation, the customer expressed dissatisfaction with these cracks and explained that in the showroom demonstration of this product there were no cracks. Great and helpful people work here, but I can't ever use them again and expect to stay in business."

"The guys I worked with (Ryan in particular) have been extremely helpful during a master bathroom remodel. I would consider myself a more advanced DIYer as I like to research as much as possible, and I do have tiling experience both right on cement backerboards and Ditra (or Kerdi), but when I come up with an even more advanced question, Emser Tile has had no problem offering help when I call or drop by. The products they offer are of better quality/type than the typical DIY stores (such as grout or thinset). Prices are no problem at all, and they're fine dealing with a regular Joe who just needs a bag or two of grout or thinset and they don't give you the third degree because you're not a high-volume contractor.
